Corrupt Officials in Taihe County, Anhui Province Attempt to Implicate Falun Gong Practitioners in Explosion

(Clearwisdom.net) Shortly before the 2003 mid-autumn festival, there was an explosion in the Taihe County Party Committee Residence Building, Fuyang Region, Anhui Province. According to the media, a woman seriously injured her right leg and was taken to the county hospital.

What happened that evening was that a woman and her husband were visiting the official responsible for the placement of ex-servicemen. When she got to the official's home, they found a gift box blocking the door. When the women touched the gift box, it exploded.

As soon as it happened, all levels of the government took the case very seriously. A Special Unit made up of policemen from county, regional and provincial levels was established led by the Party Secretary of Taihe County.

According to insiders, the Special Unit targeted Falun Gong practitioners as the main suspects. However, after repeated investigations, they did not find any leads. When they interviewed the injured woman, the special unit staff tried to convince the women and her family that the explosion was caused by Falun Gong practitioners. However, the 70-year-old mother of the woman said to the police in no-nonsense terms that all Falun Gong practitioners are good people and they are against killing. Falun Gong practitioners could not have done it.

Shortly afterwards, even before the woman was released from the hospital, they found the culprit. An ex-serviceman that had not received a job after depleting his savings by paying the official in charge of his placement over 40,000 yuan (1) had done it. Out of anger, he made an explosive device and disguised it as a gift box and placed in front of the official's house, in an attempt to punish the greedy official.

This case exposed the serious corruption by the officials. What is more appalling is that the Special Unit made up of officials and police of all levels targeted Falun Gong practitioners who practice Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, as suspects in such a terrible crime. One can see that many Chinese have been poisoned by lies such as the self-immolation, murders and poisoning, etc. by Jiang's group. The state-controlled media has consistently demonized Dafa practitioners. Although it may have fooled some people for a period of time, as more and more lies are exposed, people gradually come to see the evil nature of the persecution.

Jiang's and his accomplices maliciously defame and persecute Falun Gong practitioners, and in the process they have damaged people's conscience. They are the most evil. But they actually further have revealed their true nature. More and more people around the world now know the truth.
