Practitioners' Compassion Leads People to Realize the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) After publication of the article "Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People (With Master's Comments)", Falun Dafa practitioners from Jilin Province enlightened to the following. Local exposure of the persecution not only frightens those people who are responsible for it, but it also fulfills our most important purpose, which is to let more people know the truth and to inspire their respect for Falun Dafa.

After enlightening to this, practitioners created many different types of truth-clarifying materials tailored for people of various occupations and social statuses, such as farmers, policemen, teachers, students, deputies to the National People's Congress, sub district office workers, officials of public security bureaus, procurator bureaus, and judiciary and executive offices. During this process, we abandoned our preconceived notions and began to direct our efforts completely from the perspectives of other people. We carefully deliberated on every word and sentence, and the end result was very pleasing.

One day, after reading a flyer that was made for employees of sub district offices, the director of a local neighborhood committee said, "You see how Falun Dafa practitioners not only gave us flyers that revealed the truth to us, but they also showed us how we can live as good people? Their pure compassion really touched me. We must never allow these good folks to be persecuted again!"

In the fall of 2003, thirteen Falun Dafa practitioners from Dehui City, Jilin Province, were illegally detained for an extended period of time. Their families joined together and went to Beijing for a group appeal, an act of bravery that the local residents found very moving.

Families have witnessed the practitioners among them courageously going to Beijing to appeal for justice, and have also seen the illegal persecution of practitioners. Practitioners' determination in their appeals for justice has also won the respect of many local people. As more people learn the truth about the framing and persecution of Falun Dafa, there are more who are willing to stand up in support of the good while condemning the persecution.

Following the family appeal in Beijing, many of family members were moved by the power of justice, and some began practicing Falun Dafa. As a result, there are at least fourteen people from Dehui City who, realizing the truth through this event, have joined the ranks of Falun Dafa practitioners.
