By A Falun Gong Practitioner in Boston
(Clearwisdom.net) At 1 pm on June 30, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in
Boston, Massachusetts held a press conference on Harvard Square to expose the
terrorist actions of Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai, who are believed to have hired
hit men to shoot practitioners in South Africa. Clarifying the truth to people Harvard Square, located in downtown Cambridge, is near the renowned Harvard
University. At noon, people came outside to have lunch and there were crowds of
people in the square. During the press conference, many people stopped to watch
and learn the truth. At the press conference, a practitioner talked about the shooting incident in
which Australian Falun Gong practitioner David Liang was wounded in
Johannesburg, South Africa. Zeng and Bo, followers of Jiang, are both believed
to be involved in this terrorist act. The practitioner also talked about the
Jiang group's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners during the last five years
and the extension of the persecution overseas. Boston citizens from all walks of life were shocked at the shooting incident.
One day earlier, several practitioners met their state representatives and
informed them about the incident. The representatives were shocked after hearing
the news and asked what they could do for Falun Gong practitioners. A manager of a newspaper made suggestions after hearing the news and helped
to contact the chief editor to arrange an interview. A Harvard scholar passing by who could not understand why peaceful Falun Gong
practitioners were brutally persecuted in China, said after learning about the
shooting incident, "This is evil. This terrorism cannot be accepted." A young American man who sang on Harvard Square every day to make some money
stopped singing for an hour to let the practitioners have the press conference
after learning the facts of Falun Gong and the persecution.
