Eliminate the Evil Dark Minions by Uniting Our Righteous Thoughts

Recently, I heard the shocking news about the Australian practitioner who was shot in South Africa, the practitioners around Chengdu City, Sichuan Province being arrested, and the "610" officials in the Longjiang area going to Erlongshan for a conference. Here I would like to share with you some of my personal understandings.

From the perspective of the current situation of the Fa-rectification, there are not many evil factors left. But they have seen their impending doom, so it's like they're in disarray, and it's like a rabid dog desperately trying to bite someone before its death. They definitely know they are dying but they still act viciously, which is because of their evil nature. Viewed through the celestial eye, these things are being directed by a high level life in order to interfere with those Dafa practitioners who have fundamental attachments to let go of and also those practitioners who have strong attachments in some areas. They interfere by strengthening these practitioners' attachments, and eventually they take control of them. From the perspective of the surface dimension, for those practitioners who had omissions in these two areas, some of them gave up their practice after July 20, 1999, and some, although they came through the persecution after nearly dying several times, finally failed in the test of ordinary people's fame, pursuits, and emotion, and could not extricate themselves from it.

Now we are in the final stage of Fa-rectification. Whether or not we can cultivate ourselves determines whether we can do very well in rectifying the Fa and saving sentient beings, and it is essential until the end. It is also fundamental to fulfilling our vow of "Making a wish to save sentient beings / Assisting teacher in his journey in this world" (Hong Yin ¨C Assisting the Fa). It is also like what Master said, "Your cultivation determines whether those gigantic groups of beings are good or bad, and whether they can be kept or not!" (Touring North America to Teach the Fa) While doing Dafa work, no matter whether it is exposing the evil, saving people, peacefully appealing abroad, or bringing a suit against Chinese officials who participated in the persecution of Falun Gong, we must be on the path of cultivating ourselves. We should be in the state of Dafa disciples doing Dafa things. As to our region, many fellow practitioners have indeed done a lot of work in the Fa-rectification. But after a long period, they neglected to cultivate themselves, and developed many attachments. They were then taken advantage of by the evil. We should draw a lesson from their experiences.

All of what Dafa practitioners are doing is the path to godhood. Therefore, we must do these sacred things with a heart that is truly sacred. This is the heart that we practitioners should have. At present, however, Dafa continuously has higher standards for us. We will eventually break away from being human. Master exhorted us in 1993:

"I often say that the minds of everyday people cannot move me. I won't become happy when someone praises me, nor will I get upset when someone insults me. I remain unaffected no matter how serious the disruptions to xinxing among everyday people may be. Practitioners should take all personal gain lightly and not even care about it. Only then can your intention to become enlightened be considered mature." (Falun Gong)

Master also said:

"Let me tell you a story from Buddhism. There once was a person who became an Arhat after much effort in cultivation. As he was just about to attain Right Fruit in cultivation and become an Arhat, how could he not be happy? He was going to transcend the Three Realms! Yet this excitement is an attachment, an attachment of elation. An Arhat should be free of attachments, with a heart that cannot be affected. But he failed, and his cultivation ended up in vain. Since he failed, he had to start all over again. He resumed his cultivation, and after much painstaking effort he again succeeded in his cultivation. This time he became scared and reminded himself in his mind, ¡®I shouldn't get excited. Otherwise, I'll fail again.' With this fear, he failed again. Fear is also a kind of attachment." (Zhuan Falun)

We are going to achieve much higher levels than Arhat. Then Dafa requires much higher and much more rigorous standards for us. We should honestly gauge ourselves, and ask ourselves if have we done what Dafa has required of us? Only then can we cultivate ourselves well and have true righteous thoughts! Only when we cultivate ourselves well, can we understand much more about the Fa's principles and develop purer righteous thoughts.

In addition, for negating the old forces' arrangements during Fa-rectification, we must have a clear understanding. We must negate them by doing things from the standpoint of the new universe's purity and unselfishness. If the evil beings do evil things in front of us, should we negate it by trying to stay true in our minds? Or should we negate it from the standpoint of the Fa-rectification, and eliminate it with righteous thoughts and actions? Therefore, some fellow practitioners are saying not to acknowledge the old forces' arrangements and not to think like that, but they don't pay attention to their actions, and haven't done well with respect to security and consideration of others. Just think about it, how can we achieve the goal and effect of negating the old forces' arrangements? Not acknowledging the old forces' arrangements is never an excuse for not cultivating oneself or not looking inward! Especially in this final stage, the dark minions' performance looks out of control. For this reason, we should completely negate it. It is just like what Master said:

"We negate even the very emergence of the old forces and everything that they've arranged; we don't even acknowledge their existence. We're fundamentally negating all of their things, and all of, and only, the things you do while negating and getting rid of them is mighty-virtue. It's not that you're cultivating amidst the ordeals they created. Rather, you are to walk your own path well while not acknowledging them, not even acknowledging the elimination of their ordeals' manifestations. (Applause) So looking at it from this angle, what we need to do is completely negate the old forces. Dafa disciples and I don't even acknowledge the manifestations of their last-ditch efforts." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference")

The fellow practitioners who are doing different Dafa projects are indeed very busy. Although we do not have enough energy and time to take care of every aspect of Dafa work, we should hold it in our heart! Especially for those practitioners that Master mentioned, "have supernormal abilities while cultivating" during "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference." We must fulfill our duties well. Bringing lawsuits against evil officials is not just a task for overseas practitioners, maintaining Dafa websites is not just a task for those fellow practitioners with website development skills, and making truth-clarifying materials is not just a task for fellow practitioners at Dafa material sites. Eliminating the evil dark minions' interference to Dafa practitioners' Fa-rectification projects has become our obligation.

Recalling recent times when I sent forth righteous thoughts, when I sent out the orders to eliminate the old forces and the dark minions while encompassing all dimensions and leaving out nothing, I had a panoramic view of everything. As to the surface dimension, I am located in the north of China, but I was thinking of the fellow practitioners from Xinjiang, Hainan and other provinces who were detained and persecuted; I was thinking of overseas practitioners who go to the Chinese Embassies to appeal for fellow practitioners in Mainland China; and I was thinking of fellow practitioners who are maintaining Dafa websites. All of this didn't become a burden to me but instead a powerful motivating force. All of it made me understand what "one body" is. We all are life created by Dafa and all of us have a common starting point, which is the universal characteristic of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, but each of us is also an independent, individual life. During Fa-rectification, we all think of the overall situation of Dafa. This is one body! Although we are doing different projects and even though we are so far apart and don't know each other. Speaking from another angle, uniting our hearts together itself is eliminating the dimensional segments one after another to some extent. Thinking of the overall situation we should keep pace and make sure our hearts and minds rise along with the ever-rising standard. If we hold all things in our heart and treat them with righteous thoughts, it will reduce the pressure on fellow practitioners who are doing the concrete projects, and push forward the process of Fa-rectification and saving more sentient beings. It is just like what a North American practitioner said:

"At the final moment of the Fa-rectification, we must perfectly harmonize with and replenish each other to form a whole body that is free of omissions. The whole universe will be perfect and all encompassing, and it will be composed of particles that are in accordance with the Fa. If anything impure gets in, then the universe will no longer be pure, and that is not allowed in the new universe. Therefore we must have strict requirements for ourselves. Every project in the Fa-rectification is the responsibility of every Fa-rectification disciple. For projects that we cannot participate in, we should still look at them with righteous thoughts, so as to prevent the negating of our strength." ("Do Not Differentiate Between Fa-Rectification Projects; A Great Way Has No Form But Exists As a Whole")

Master gave comments to this article: " ... Different approaches are in fact the all-encompassing way in which roles are dynamically distributed in the operations of the Fa, and the Fa-power is a reflection of the one body." Speaking from another angle, putting the one body in our heart is the embodiment of an enlightened person's intelligence, still more the display of an enlightened person's power!

In conclusion, cultivating oneself well can develop strong and pure righteous thoughts. Holding the one body in our hearts can improve the state of the one body, really negate the old forces' arrangements, and therefore eliminate the evil dark minions.

Finally, hopefully all of us Dafa practitioners coordinate as one body with righteous thoughts and eliminate the old forces' arrangements, walk each step well, and fulfill our sacred vow!
