(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Duan Xueqin is from Goumen Village of Manshanzi in Balin Zuoqi Area, Inner Mongolia. Before she practiced Falun Gong, she suffered from various diseases, and was unable to care for herself. Since she started practicing Falun Gong in 1998, she conducted herself according to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance". As a result, her health improved greatly and she has not taken any medicine for the past several years.

Because Duan Xueqin firmly believes in Falun Dafa, she has been arrested five times since July of 1999, when the persecution began. Her house has been ransacked and she was abducted and subjected to a fine of 1,500 Yuan (1). She was sentenced to a forced labor camp, where she suffers brutal torture. Her life is currently in great danger.

Duan Xueqin has been sentenced to three years in a labor camp in Anmeng Tumuji. The prolonged, highly intensive labor and mental torture caused her to suffer from a stomach perforation and anemia acidity sickness. She was unable to take food for over fifty days, and was finally released when her life was in danger.

On November 4, 2002, the Biliutai Town local security office sent out many police officers to try to abduct Duan Xueqin and take her to the Chifeng brainwashing center, but they failed. Duan was forced to leave her home and go to Chifeng City to avoid further persecution.

On February 11, 2003, Duan Xueqin was once again abducted by police from Chifeng City. Her right shoulder was twisted and her legs were beat and kicked so badly that she was unable to walk. She went on a hunger strike to protest the torture. A police officer with the surname of Jiang force-fed her with a half-pound of salt. Eighteen days after the force-feeding, she was tortured to extreme emaciation, and she became unconscious. She was finally released later. However, within one month, and before she was completely recovered from the torture, Bu Ren and other police from the Chifeng security team abducted her to the Chifeng East Prison detention center. On the way to the detention center, Duan vomited continuously until she vomited blood and was unable to eat. Police officer Deng Liyan and about five inmates held her down and shocked her with electric batons. They then sent her to the hospital to be force-fed. She was restrained by about six policemen, followed by criminals and two or three policemen with guns in hand. They treated a person this way who was nearly tortured to death with such brutality, just because she believes in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance."

The police also tied her tightly to the bed without any room for movement for many days. The repeated insertion and pulling out the tubes for force-feeding causes unbearable mental as well as physical pain. She vomited blood when they inserted the tube. Her organs felt excruciating pain, which was almost impossible to endure. With a tube inserted down her throat, she was unable to make a sound. Afterwards she was sent to the hospital and received intravenous injections and more force-feeding.

During the three months when Duan Xueqin was detained, Deng Liyan and other police officers also incited criminals to insult her, beat her up, and not allow her to open her eyes. To humiliate her, sometimes they threw her bed covers to the floor so she would be naked. They also spat on her face. After suffering from force-feeding for over three months and being handcuffed to the bed for over two months, Duan Xueqin suffered muscular atrophy, throat injuries, stomach bleeding, dizziness, and headaches. After being tortured to this extent, the Hongshan area court still sentenced her to four years in prison. Because she was unable to move, she was sent home. Her arm is still not recovered.

To date, many practitioners from the Chifeng area have been tortured to death, including Zhao Yanxia, who was 62 years old. She was suffocated to death during force-feeding. Zheng Lanfeng was force-fed with more than half pound of salt and suffered various tortures. She died 18 days after she was abducted. Zhou Caixia was sentenced to eight years in prison. She vomited blood during force-feeding, but the police kept feeding her. She was sent to Baoanzhao with tubing in her nose. She was tortured to death five months after she was abducted.
