My name is Liu Cuiqing. I live at No. 6, 9^th Street, Kuanxi Worker's House at Zhaoge Village, Guye District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. My phone number is 86-315-3506204. I began my cultivation in 1999. Since July 20, 1999, I have repeatedly been harassed by police coming to my house.

On the evening of November 9, 2000, I was arrested by the police from Zaogezhuangkuang Police Station in Kailuan City for printing materials that explain the truth about Dafa. Eight people assaulted me. Policeman Sun Lizhu kicked me down to the floor and sat on my neck, and used thin nylon ropes to tie my arms up, then hung me from the doorframe in the investigation room on the second floor. They also used thick ropes to whip my face and pressured me to slander Teacher. The scoundrels that hit me included Li Xiangpu and Sun Lizhu.

After six days of torture, I was put in Guye Detention Center on November 4, 2000, and held there for over two months. I demanded that they release me since I did not commit any crime. On January 21, 2001, I was secretly sentenced to three years of forced labor, and put in Kaiping Labor Camp.

On the Spring Festival Day, I was hung from the rim on the basketball court, simply for practicing the Falun Gong exercises. I was suspended from midnight to dawn and became frozen. Prison guards pulled me down and brought me into the house to let me warm up slightly, only to pull me out again and hang me on a snow-covered tree.

I went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention. The prison guards force-fed me on March 8, 2001. To force me to comply, guards hit and kicked me, causing my nose to bleed and eyes to swell. My right eye was injured, causing me headaches and nausea. The squadron leader, Zhao Xiufeng, and the department manager Mr. Cai also was present.

In Kaiping Labor Camp, the methods they used to persecute practitioners were very cruel. They used electric batons to shock practitioners, forced them to sit on a binding chair, denied practitioners to sleep, denied them the use of restrooms, hung them in the snow-covered field, exposed them under the hot sun, taped their mouths up or used rags, even underwear with menstrual blood, to gag them.

In June 2002, I was not able to withstand the torture and was led to a wrong understanding, and was released. Now I am deeply regretful. The "610" Office in Zhaogezhuangkuang has sent people to watch over me around the clock to prevent me from going to Beijing.

On June 14, I was forced into Tangshan Brainwashing Class and I lost my freedom again. I was confined there in a small room and was guarded around the clock. My family members also went through tremendous suffering. My elderly mother would not go out the door because she could not stand people's criticism and ridicule. She was not able to sleep at night, and she eventually became mentally disordered.
