Based on the Standpoint of Saving Sentient Beings, Let Ordinary People Recite, "Falun Dafa Is Good" By a Practitioner in China
(Clearwisdom.net) The Clearwisdom Website often publishes articles about ordinary people
reciting, "Falun Dafa is good" and later receiving blessings and
experiencing miracles. After reading these reports, I thought about why reciting
"Falun Dafa is good" helps people improve their health, become more
fit, get rid of bad fortune, resolve adversity and turn bad luck into good.
Through studying the Fa, I gained a clearer understanding about this issue. In "Teaching and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa
Conference" Teacher says: "Even when an ordinary person shouts out "Falun Dafa is
good" today, Master will protect him, since he's shouted those words I
can't not protect him amidst the evil. And how much more so am I protecting
you cultivators!" The Fa-principles tell us that ordinary people who recite, "Falun Dafa
is good" receive blessings because Teacher protects them. How lucky the
sentient beings are who live in the period when Dafa is widely spread! Teacher
gives sentient beings in the cosmos everything that's the most wonderful and the
opportunity to choose their future. When an ordinary person recites, "Falun
Dafa is good," he is already acknowledging that Falun Dafa is good,
believing in Falun Dafa and sending out the best thought in the cosmos. This
best thought intimidates and eliminates the evil and disintegrates all
unrighteous elements in the cosmos. If the number of people who recite, "Falun
Dafa is good" keeps increasing, more people will be saved and there will be
less evil. We are then getting closer to the historical moment when the entire
population is going to step forward to oppose the persecution. Having understood
this Fa-principle, when I explained the truth about Falun Gong to people I also
told them to recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and the effect I got was
very good. A friend of mine is a teacher. She experienced very strong reactions during
her pregnancy, including nausea, vomiting and feeling bad all over, which kept
her from going to work. A fellow practitioner and I went to her home. We told
her to recite "Falun Dafa is good" and she would definitely get well.
She believed us and immediately closed her eyes to quietly recite, "Falun
Dafa is good" several times. She told us that as soon as she recited,
"Falun Dafa is good" she saw silver-colored houses and roads. She
personally experienced Dafa's supernormal phenomena. That day she ate a lot, but
she did not throw up, and instead felt great. A worker who lives near me had an illness that made him vomit blood. I told
him the truth about Falun Dafa, asked him to recite "Falun Dafa is
good" and told him that then he would stop vomiting blood. In his spare
time at work he constantly recited, "Falun Dafa is good." He told me
that the first day when he started reciting "Falun Dafa is good" he
stopped throwing up and he had since stopped vomiting blood; at work he ran into
troubles that seemed to be impossible to resolve, yet they were all resolved
smoothly. One day I ran into a lady who worked in a child-care center. I told her the
truth about Falun Dafa and told her to recite "Falun Dafa is good" to
improve her health and become fit. After about two weeks I accidentally ran into
her again. She happily told me, "My health is getting much better."
Then she repeated, "Falun Dafa is good." When an ordinary person recites, "Falun Dafa is good," on the
surface it looks like it is for improving health and getting fit. In fact, it is
his or her aware side taking effect. In "Teaching the Fa at the 2003
Atlanta Fa Conference" Teacher says, "As you clarify the truth, the words you speak and the energy you emit
have the effect of intimidating and eliminating the evil. You are crucial in
determining whether the beings in this world stay or get eliminated. If your
words are pure and righteous they will really go right into the innermost part
of people's thoughts, and instantly make people understand." When we tell people to recite "Falun Dafa is good," we are based on
the standpoint of validating the Fa and saving sentient beings; yet, our real
goal is absolutely not for the sake of improving health, getting fit,
getting rid of bad fortune or resolving adversity. If our standpoint is not
right, telling people to recite "Falun Dafa is good" is not going to
have a good effect. "We'd say that a good or bad outcome comes from one thought. The
difference in one thought leads to different results." (From Zhuan
