(Clearwisdom.net) On July 22, 1999, Jiang's group
launched an evil suppression of Falun Gong practitioners who believe in
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" in China. The same day, hundreds
of thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners began their great and peaceful journey
of clarifying the truth and exposing the Jiang group's lies with their great
compassion and tolerance. As of today, five years have passed. Falun Dafa
practitioners have not been beaten down during the brutal persecution; they have
faced the most debased and vicious and inhuman suppression in human's history
using their steadfast will and strong belief. They have spread Falun Dafa's
beauty and the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" to the
world. Their kind deeds and spirit have touched people, and kind people also
sent out their voices of concern. Jiang has been served lawsuits on charges of
genocide, torture and crimes against humanity. Jiang's group is at its desperate
end, and what awaits them will be the most severe trial and punishment.

On July 20, in order to further expose to the Australian
people about the Jiang group's state terrorism, and call for an end to the
killing of Falun Gong practitioners, Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney once
again held an anti-torture exhibit and photo exhibit in Hyde Park at the center
of the city. Practitioners peacefully practiced the exercises on the lawn, and
also clarified the truth and collected signatures from passersby, condemning the
Jiang group's hiring gunmen to attempt to kill Falun Gong practitioners in South
Africa. Many people stopped and watched, attracted by practitioners' peaceful
exercise scene and they were also shocked at the brutality the reenacted torture
methods displayed. People signed their names and took truth clarification
materials on their own initiative, and expressed to practitioners their deep
sympathy over the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners and anger and disgust with
the Jiang group's atrocities.
During the evening, Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney held a
candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Consulate to commemorate more than 1,000
Falun Dafa practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution. Sitting
in meditation in the frigid winter wind, practitioners peacefully displayed
Dafa's peacefulness and grace. The candlelight expressed practitioners' grief
for those practitioners who have died. The persecution will not last long, the
righteous will definitely triumph over the evil.
