A Party Committee Secretary from a Factory Tells a Practitioner: "Please Say Hello to Your Teacher for Me"

A Party Committee Secretary from a factory in Jilin Province found a Falun Dafa book in a tool box which had previously belonged to a Dafa practitioner who had worked at the factory before he was forcefully taken away by the Chinese authorities. Instead of handing the book to the Police Department he immediately hid it. Once this practitioner was released from jail, the Party Committee Secretary went out of his way to return the book to him and said, "You have performed excellently in all aspects of your job while working for our factory. I greatly admire you from the bottom of my heart. My mother often receives phone calls from overseas Falun Dafa practitioners telling her the truth about Falun Gong and I know that Falun Gong practitioners are all good people. Please say hello to your Teacher Mr. Li Hongzhi for me."

When Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang handed out some flyers explaining the facts about Falun Gong, someone who had been deceived by the Jiang regime's lies reported her to the local Community Committee. The head of the Community Committee came to see the chief officer of the police station and told the chief that Ms. Wang had once again been handing out Falun Gong flyers.

The chief already knew the truth about Falun Gong due to practitioners' prior efforts, and thus he knew that Falun Gong is innocent. He didn't want to deal with such an issue and so he told the head from the local Community Committee: "If these things happen again don't bother coming here. We don't handle such affairs." The head was very embarrassed and had no choice but to leave.

Later, the practitioner received a message from the chief via another person. He said, "From now on, be careful, don't let those old women see you when you are handing out Falun Gong materials to people."

Someone who had been deceived by the Jiang regime's propaganda called the local police and reported that a Dafa practitioner was handing out Falun Gong flyers. A police patrol was informed and the practitioner was arrested. After being taken to the closest police station, the practitioner didn't answer any of their questions. However, as soon as the police stopped asking questions, the practitioner started to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to them. Practitioners who had been arrested before had already explained the facts about Falun Gong to the police. This in turn meant that most of the police from the police station understood that Falun Gong has been treated unjustly, so they didn't give the practitioner a hard time. Two hours later, the police said to the practitioner, "You can go home. We know that Falun Gong practitioners aren't bad people." The practitioner then replied, "Please return all my belongings." The police returned the practitioner's bicycle and bag but kept the Falun Dafa materials that were in the bag. The police said, "We have to keep these." In response, the practitioner said, "Please read the materials carefully. Good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil. You must remember that Falun Dafa is good!" The police then showed him out of the station.

One day I gave a booklet containing information about Falun Gong to a business owner who makes banners and informational posters. He hastily put it into a room at the back of the shop and said, "The police come here all the time. They already warned me not to make anything related to Falun Gong. If the police saw it, they would think that I had made it and I would get into trouble."

He then kept saying, "You shouldn't get involved in politics." To which I replied, "We don't get involved in politics. It's just that the authority uses propaganda to create an image that we are involved in politics." He replied, "You are not involved in politics? What about when you all went to Zhongnanhai to appeal?" I answered, "According to the Constitution, it is a citizen's right to be able to peacefully appeal to the authorities. For example, say your family member has been beaten to death by an official, you take him to court, but he then says that you are going against the government; do you agree with him?" Upon hearing these words, he backed up a step and said, "I would stop proceeding with the case and just put up with it." I said, "Another family member has been beaten to death too." He backed up another step and said, "I again put up with it." I asked, "Now it's your turn." This time he didn't move. I continuously asked him, "Now what would you do?" He just stood there and looked at me blankly without saying a word.

On another occasion a girl said to me: "You Falun Gong practitioners always make trouble." I replied, "We don't cause any trouble. If your parents were ruined by slander, but you only hid at home without saying anything ..." Without even waiting for me to finish my sentence, she shouted excitedly, "There's just no way I would do that, no way." I said, "Well, Falun Gong is in exactly the same situation." She then replied, "Now I understand the truth. Thank you for telling me."
