(Clearwisdom.net) It has been five long years since Jiang's regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong in China. More than one thousand Falun Gong practitioners have died from the persecution. They have been subjected to countless methods of torture. Jiang's plot of wiping out Falun Gong within three months has fallen through. Having survived unbearable miseries, Falun Gong practitioners still stand fast on their faith in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and keep clarifying the truth to the people.

Falun Gong practitioners in Houston held an anti-torture exhibition in front of the Chinese Consulate from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 20, 2004. The exhibition exposed the brutal tortures of Falun Gong practitioners under the persecution. Two practitioners portrayed torture victims. Display boards in both English and Chinese read, "Now Happening in China." The exhibition received great attention. People were anxious to find out why such tortures were happening in China. They were shocked to learn that the torture victims were a large group of innocent people with faith in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." They took truth-clarification materials to read.

Ms. Tang, who portrayed one of the victims, told a reporter, "It has been five years since the persecution started. It is too long and has brought too much pain to Falun Gong practitioners and their families under the persecution. However, the propaganda in China has been lying and deceiving the people. Our exhibition aims to expose the lies, tell people what is happening in China and awaken people's conscience. We hope the persecution will stop soon."

Mr. Wang, who portrayed the other victim, said, "In China, Jiang's regime attempts to devastate the mind, and bankrupt and destroy Falun Gong practitioners physically. All kinds of tortures have been forced on Falun Gong practitioners. Some practitioners were even sent to mental hospitals and injected with nerve-destructive drugs. The level of persecution is unprecedented. Our exhibition exposes the heinous crimes."

With peacefulness and rationality, Falun Gong practitioners have been resisting the unprecedented brutality by clarifying the truth and awakening people's conscience. Their efforts will eventually stop the persecution.
