The Persecution I Experienced and Witnessed In the Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Xu Xiuhui. I am from Wukeshu of Yushu City, Jinlin Province. I am almost 60 years old. On around March 1, 2001 I was illegally arrested. On March 11, police sentenced me to a forced labor camp, but first sent me to a detention center. On April 4, 2001, I was sent to Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. The following are my personal experiences in Division Two at the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Included are twenty cases of persecution that I personally experienced or witnessed.

During the evening of March 1 or 2, 2001, police officer Liu from Wukeshu Police Department, together with about seven other policemen, came to my home to arrest me. I had two five-year-old grand children staying with me because their parents were out of town on business. When I, their grandmother, was being taken away, the children were so frightened that they started to cry. On April 4, I was sent to Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.

At first I was detained in Team One of the Second Division. Division head Liu Lianying forced me to write a "Break up Letter." She shocked me with an electric baton, causing me to lose consciousness for over two hours. The next day, guard Wei Dan dragged me to the office and brutally assaulted me with punches and kicks. She also shocked me with an electric baton, causing me to lose consciousness again. Then they dragged me to the hallway. I didn't regain consciousness until about three hours later. The third day they dragged me again to the office, where guard Guo Yuxin used an electric baton to shock me. The shock caused large blisters on the backs of my hands. My face was swollen and I was beaten black and blue around the eyes. I felt dizzy.

The fourth day was a Sunday. Guard Wei Dan had five criminal inmates force me into a dark room and strip me down to my underpants only. The evildoers were drug addicts and prostitutes, including Wang Dongling, Chen Xuechun, He Huanping, prostitute Wang Jinghua, and thief Lu Mingchun. The five criminal inmates told me that the head of the division and the guards ordered them to torture me, promising them that they would be released early. They wrote anti Falun Gong words on my clothes and underwear. They started to assault me with punches, kicks, and even shoes. I felt dizzy and I could barely stand. They repeatedly shouted obscene language. After a while I was so weak that I could no longer walk, and half of my body could not even move. My chest and back hurt badly and my breasts were swollen. Finally I passed out while using the toilet.

After that torture my health deteriorated. I lost consciousness many times from convulsions, and I experienced an abnormal heart condition. I had no choice but to start a hunger strike. Instead of stopping the torture, the police intensified the torment. They tortured me with forced feeding. Because I refused to cooperate with them, they tied me onto a "dead person's bed," with my arms and legs spread wide and tied. My family was forbidden to visit me. Every day, criminal inmates Lu Mingchun and Wang Jinghua beat me and pinched me repeatedly.

The Second Division in Huizuizi Labor Camp is a very evil place. Division head Liu Lianying relied on guard Wei Dan to torture people. Wei Dan encouraged criminals to abuse Falun Gong practitioners. By pushing criminals to bully good people, she turned into a monster of torture.

Ms. Zhou Shuzhi (about 50 years old) was a practitioner from Qianguo County, Songyuan City. She was detained in Team One in the Second Division. She was very determined, and refused to yield to the evildoers. The police used an electric baton to beat and shock her. She was stripped naked by criminal inmates Wang Dongling, Lu Mingchun, He Huanping, and others. They used a needle to prick at her nipples and genitals. They kicked her genital area until it became badly bruised. The cruel torture left her with bruises and wounds all over the body. Every time she was tortured we could hear her painful cries for help. She eventually started to experience a heart condition.

Ms. Yang Guiping is in her late 40s, and is from Da'an City. She was detained in Team One of the Second Division. She was subjected to punches, kicks, and electrical shocks from Wei Dan. The torture broke two of her ribs. She had blood in her stools for two months. Ever since then she looked pale and suffered from anemia, and she didn't recover until a year later.

Ms. An Meizi, 45, from Helong City was detained in Team One of the Second Division. To torment her, the guards forced her to work during the day and stand without moving each night until midnight. Some collaborators were assigned to watch her during the two-month long standing torture. One time, Liu Lianying and Wei Dan shocked her with an electrical baton for 2-3 hours, causing her face to become badly swollen.

Ms. Zhao Cuiling, 36, was detained in Team One of the Second Division. In April 2003, guard Wei Dan used an electrical baton to shock her for almost three hours. Her neck and lymph nodes were so swollen that she could not swallow for quite a long time, and her skin was badly burned. She was dangerously thin after losing much weight. The electrical shocks caused serious damage to her heart.

Ms. Zhao Lijuan, 42, was a lawyer in Liaoyuan City. Her husband was a police officer at the Liaoyuan Forced Labor Camp. The justice department and the high level labor camp administration tried to force her husband to divorce her. He refused. The head of the First Camp of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp instigated Wei Dan to torture Zhao Lijuan. As a result, Zhao was repeatedly shocked with electric batons until midnight, causing an irregular heart condition. She was forced to do slave labor until midnight every day, and Wei Dan also encouraged other inmates and drug addicts to join in the abuse and torment.

Ms. Liu Lixia from Changchun is about 50 years old. She was detained in Group Two of the Second Team. Because she refused to give up her belief, she was repeatedly tortured with an electric baton by guards Guo, Yu Bo, and division head Liu. She could not walk after the torture, and she has still not fully recovered.

Ms. Li Ying from Changchun is about 35 years old. She was detained in Team Two of the Second Division. Because she was determined in her Falun Gong practice, the labor camp refused to release her after her sentence expired. She also was subjected to electric shocks, sleep deprivation, and extended forced standing. After she went on a hunger strike, the police punished her with forced feeding.

Ms. Zhou Liqin of Changchun is about 35 years old. She was detained in Team One of the Second Division. The police beat her legs very brutally, causing severe injuries both externally and internally. Her physical condition deteriorated significantly.

Ms. Luo Xiling of Jining City is about 45 years old. She was detained in Team Three of the Second Division. Because she persisted in cultivating in Falun Dafa, she was severely shocked with electric batons. She suffered a great deal of physical and mental torture. Eventually, the only thing she could say was, "I am a Dafa practitioner." The police ordered inmate committee members Chen Hongchun, Yu Junying, Lu Mingchun, and Wang Dongling to use needles to prick Luo Xiling on her hands, feet and face. They also pinched her legs hard, to force her to write the "Five statements" (to denounce Dafa). After that, she could not walk or bend her legs for a long time. The police officer who monitored Luo Xiling was Lang Cuiping.

Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuzhen, 48, is from Liaoyuan city. After her trip to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Guard Liu Lianying violently beat her until her face was swollen and she had trouble walking. Often she needed to support herself by clinging to a wall. The police repeatedly shocked her with electric batons.

Ms. Li Yuling of Changchun was about 45 years old. She was detained in Team Three of the Second Division. She suffered severe handcuffing and electric shocks. She was forced to lower her head while kneeling on the ground as a form of torture.

Ms. Yang Yonglan from Changchun was detained in Team Five of the Second Division. She was a teacher, and because she refused to cooperate by cheating on an exam, Liu Lianying shocked her with an electric baton. (Note: The labor camp guards always encourage the inmates to cheat on exams)

Ms. Yin Jun, a 22-year-old practitioner from Fusong County was detained in Team Three of the Second Division. She was so badly beaten that she could not walk. The electric shocks also caused her to develop an irregular heart condition.

Ms. Zheng Yawen, 35, was detained in Team Three of the Second Division. One time she recited Teacher's articles when she was forced to watch a film that slandered Dafa. To punish her, Liu Lianying, Ma Tianshu, and Wei Dan kicked her legs and genital area. Afterwards, she could not walk and had to be assisted to go downstairs to have meals.

One time on April 25, while having dinner in the canteen, Zheng Yawen shouted "Falun Dafa is good!" "Restore the reputation of Master Li Hongzhi!" and "Dafa suffers the most severe injustice in thousands of years!" Police dragged her to an upstairs office where, at first, Liu Lianying and Lu Mingchun punched and kicked her to force her to apologize. She said, "I have done nothing wrong. Promoting Dafa is my honor." The police beat her so violently that all her teeth became loose. Her two front teeth almost fell out. Her mouth was bleeding heavily. Most of her hair was pulled out. The police even lied to the outside world, saying that she tried to commit suicide by banging her head into a wall. They also used an electric baton to shock her under her clothes. She was shocked so badly that she fell to the floor. Finally the battery was used up. Zheng Yawen had black eyes from the torture, but the shameless Liu Liangying said, "Zheng Yawen is crazy! She bumped into hard objects that caused her to have black eyes." She told others, "People had to grab Zheng's hair to save her life."

Ms. Zheng Donghui is a 35-year-old practitioner from Changchun. She was detained at Team One of the Second Division, and was once on medical parole, then later arrested again. Wei Dan brutally beat her in the office for an entire. She suffered electric shocks, punches, and kicks. To protest the torture, Zheng Donghui went on a hunger strike that lasted over 90 days. During the hunger strike she was subjected to forced feeding and injections. Her hair even stood on end due to the torture. She was skin and bones. Court officials came several times to threaten her, "You will die for nothing. The labor camps have a death quota. Since you refuse to eat, no one cares if you die."

Practitioner Ms. Li Zongling, 48, is from Yanji City. She was detained in Team One of the Second Division and sentenced to two years of forced labor by the Yanji "610 Office" (1) without a specific charge. The torture damaged her health, and she became too weak to do any work. She should have been released on medical parole long ago. She had a big lump on her neck, and later she had lumps all over her body. She could hardly walk or eat. For a long time, the labor camp refused to release her, but later they had no choice but to let her go.

Ms. Li Yongjie is a 37-year-old practitioner from Tonghua City. She was detained in Team One of the Second Division, and was deprived of sleep for many days and nights. The police beat and shocked her with electric batons. In an art exhibition that slandered Dafa, she shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Prison guard Wei Dan shocked her with electric batons. Her skin was badly burned. She was very weak when released.

Ms. Wang Yonghong from Yanji was 37 years old. She was detained in Team Three of the Second Division. Police once handcuffed her for an extended time.

Ms. Guo Yaling of Yongji County, Jilin Province was 47 years old. She was detained in Team One of the Second Division. Before she began practicing Falun Gong she was confined to bed for 15 years. Practicing Falun Gong made her a healthy person again. In May 2000 she signed her name on a statement saying she would give up Falun Dafa. After that, all her diseases returned. From this she realized that Falun Dafa is good and Master is great, so she started to cultivate again. She was then sent to the forced labor camp for the second time. She was diagnosed as having heart disease, cholecystitis, and high-blood pressure. Her eyes bulged, and she had no strength to do any work. Later she died in the labor camp.
