Ms. Cao Jinling, a 56 year old farmer from Laohetu Township, Fuxin County,
Liaoning Province, started to practice Falun Dafa in 1996. On December 25, 2000
she went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was illegally detained in the female
division of the Fuxin Forced Labor Camp. During the detention period she was
made to stand barefooted in the snow. During her menses, she was forced to do
heavy labor, which led to long term, prolonged bleeding. In September 2001 she
was released. As the bleeding did not stop, she went to a hospital for an exam
on February 16, 2004 and was diagnosed to be in the late stages of cervical
cancer. She passed away on June 17, 2004.
