Japan: Bicycle Tour to Rescue Children Who Are Persecuted in China (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) A bicycle tour to rescue children who are being persecuted in China for their beliefs in Falun Gong left Nagoya for Osaka at 9:30 a.m. on July 17, 2004. The two-hundred-mile journey took the team, which consisted of several adults and two children, three days to complete, with stops in major cities, including Kyoto.

Activities on the same theme have been held in the United States and Canada to call attention to the persecution of young Falun Gong practitioners in China. When Japanese children heard about the rescue tour, they were eager to participate.

Young but determined, they finally reached thir destination by bike. Their pure hearts encouraged adults. It is hard to imagine children like these are persecuted in China.

The bicycle team distributed flyers along their way. They stopped at train stations to perform the Falun Dafa exercises and distribute flyers. Sometimes they also distributed flyers on the streets. People were deeply shaken by the facts of the persecution.

When the bicycle tour passed through Kyoto, they participated in local truth-clarification activities. Practitioners distributed flyers around the city before their press conference.

A photo exhibition of tortures in the persecution of Falun Gong was held in Kyoto. Many people visited the exhibition. They couldn't believe such brutality was still happening.

More children from different cities joined the bicycle tour the next morning. They took turns riding bikes. Their strong pedaling showed their courage. The team arrived in Osaka at 1:15 p.m. on July 19.

A mother and her little girl stopped to see display boards. As the mother started to leave, the little girl was still concentrating on the display, with sincere and pure-hearted concern written on her face. It made her look more mature than her age.

The bicycle tour brought the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong to many people. We will continue our efforts to bring the true story of Falun Gong to more people. Eventually, all righteous people will step out against the persecution. The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and their children must stop!
