Texas: Falun Dafa Practitioners Gather in Front of the State Capitol to Condemn the Jiang Group's Terrorist Activities in South Africa (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) After hearing the shocking news of the attempted murder of Falun Gong practitioners in South Africa on June, 28, 2004, which resulted in Falun Gong practitioner Mr. David Liang having his bones in one foot shattered, at noon on June 30, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Austin and Houston peacefully gathered in front of the State Capitol to strongly condemn the Jiang group's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and overseas.

Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai visited South Africa from June 27-29. Because these two persons have been following Jiang Zemin closely to persecute Falun Gong practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," Australian Falun Gong practitioners arrived at Johannesburg International Airport in South Africa at 6pm on the afternoon of June 28, hoping to stop the persecution by legal means. However, they were attacked, apparently by gunmen hired by Jiang's group overseas.

Practitioners in Texas held banners reading, "Jiang Regime Hires Thugs To Shoot at Falun Gong Practitioners." The banners attracted the attention of nearby officials, tourists and passers-by. They accepted Falun Gong practitioners' flyers, and some people offered to write appeal letters for Falun Gong practitioners regarding this issue.

During the protest, it started to rain heavily. Although completely soaked, practitioners' righteous thoughts were not affected by the rain, but instead became even stronger. Just like the shooting incident in South Africa, instead of making Falun Gong practitioners retreat, it will, on the contrary, cause more practitioners to step forward and more actively tell the world about the Jiang group's terrorist persecution of Falun Gong practitioners worldwide.
