Osaka, Japan: Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal in Front of the Chinese Consulate to Strongly Condemn the Jiang Regime's Terrorist Act (Photos)
By a Osaka Falun Gong practitioner
(Clearwisdom.net) On June 30, 2004, upon hearing of the South Africa
shooting incident, Osaka Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese
Consulate at Osaka to appeal to the public. Practitioners strongly condemned
the Jiang regime's terrorist act of hiring thugs in South Africa to shoot
Falun Gong practitioners.
In order to protest the visit of Chinese Vice-President Zeng Qinghong, one
of the chief instigators of the persecution of Falun Gong, and to demand an
immediate end of the persecution, 9 Australian Falun Gong practitioners flew
to South Africa to hold a peaceful public appeal and file a lawsuit against
Zeng. David Liang was driving one of two cars en route from the Johannesburg
Airport to Pretoria at around 8:30 Monday evening, when a white car with three
occupants overtook them and fired at least five shots into the vehicle. Liang
was hospitalized with bullet wounds in both feet and his car was disabled in
the incident. Examination showed that a bullet shot through his right foot and
the bones were shattered.
Osaka practitioners came to the Consulate to expose this terrorist act by
the Jiang regime. Practitioners strongly condemned this shooting incident, and
called on all kind-hearted people to condemn and oppose the Jiang regime's
exporting its state terrorism. During the rally, practitioners sent righteous
thoughts and distributed fliers to passersby.
Practitioners believe that the Jiang regime is evidently behind this
shooting incident and it showed the regime's profound paranoia and fear. Those
responsible should be brought to justice in the future.
