(Clearwisdom.net) When some people who didn't know the truth hear that Falun Gong has been spread around the world to over 60 countries, they don't care about it and make statements like "The foreign laws are different than our laws in China. In our country, Falun Gong is illegal. Don't you know our government has banned it?"

Thus, Jiang and his followers have taken advantage of the fact that most Chinese people don't know the details of their own laws. In our country, Falun Gong has always been legal; banning it was illegal. You may understand more after you hear this encounter I had.

During the Sixteenth Party Congress, I was abducted violently by the National Security Department. When they interrogated me, I told them that they were committing a crime. But they said: "Falun Gong is illegal." I told them: "Please show me the law. What law does Falun Gong violate?" They said: "That 'six No-rules..." I said: "Those were made by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, which is not a legislative department and does not have the power to enact any laws. Therefore the so-called 'six No-rules' are not our country's law. Those were made up in order to suppress Falun Gong and deceive the people." They looked at each other and after a while, they said: "You would not believe it even if we show you the law."

I said: "You cannot show me any law supporting the persecution of Falun Gong, because there are no such laws at all." At this point they became quiet.

When I saw the process with which they arrested me, I laughed: "Your police department should follow the law and base your actions on facts. However, you even made up the place and reason for arresting me. How could you handle the case according to the law? If I cooperate with you, am I not helping a tyrant to do evil and trample on the Chinese constitution? Jiang tramples on the constitution, but Dafa practitioners cannot do the same thing."

After being illegally detained for nine months, I was released unconditionally.

When I was arrested, they asked me to sign a statement, but I refused. They said: "It doesn't matter whether or not you sign it. We will detain you no matter what."

When I was released, they asked me to sign the release form, I also refused. They said: "OK, it doesn't matter if you don't want to sign."

The law-enforcement personnel consider the law as a game. How can the law protect people, if that's the case?

Some people think that Falun Gong has nothing to do with them. People with this thought usually believe in the Chinese media's rumor mongering propaganda about Falun Gong, and identify with Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong, which is very dangerous for them. Because their thoughts are along the same lines, it is easy for them to help the tyrant do evil. What Dafa practitioners are doing is merely exercising the rights given to them by the constitution. Some people are deceived by the media's lies, and they notify the police when they see Dafa practitioners handing out the truth-clarifying materials. However, what they don't know about is the policy, "If Falun Gong practitioners are beaten to death, it doesn't matter; if they are killed, it's counted as suicide."

Falun Gong has always been legal in Mainland China. The law doesn't ban Falun Gong, and the country doesn't consider Falun Gong as evil. It is not the central government, but Jiang that insists on persecuting Falun Gong. Jiang uses his mouthpiece, the state-run media, to deceive the people throughout the entire country. Please don't believe the lies anymore and don't help the tyrant to do evil anymore.
