Media Reports on Falun Gong Parade and Anti-Torture Exhibition in Boston (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 25 and 26, in order to raise public awareness of Falun Gong and call to stop Jiang group's oppression of Falun Gong practitioners, practitioners from around the world gathered at Boston and held a grand parade and anti-torture exhibition. Their activities drew attention from passersby and tourists including correspondents from different media outlets.

"Forbearance Benevolence Truthfulness" to live by and to die for

Media Channel correspondent Rory O'Connor wrote in the beginning of his article, " 'Forbearance. Benevolence. Truthfulness.' Those words to live by -- and I suppose, if necessary, to die for -- were the first I saw and heard upon arrival in my old hometown to attend the Democratic National Convention."

The reporter said not that any Democrats were espousing them, of course . . . instead it was the oppressed practitioners of Falun Gong who were marching by the thousands through downtown Boston.

He continued, "The protest was meant to draw attention to the torture and murder visited on Falun Gong practitioners on a regular basis by the threatened Chinese 'Communist' Party".

Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned for aspiring to Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

A commentary article wrote by Kathleen Parker and published on Victorville Daily Press (California) on July 28 said, "Meanwhile, at Copley Square, which is bordered by several hotels housing state delegations, practitioners of a meditation and exercise technique
called Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong (but you knew that), were demonstrating against China's torture of Gong followers."

The report wrote, "A parade that circled the square featured beautiful Asian women wearing traditional garb performing fan choreography and a float depicting torture
victims in bloodied white pajamas. According to pamphlets handed to anyone making eye contact, China has detained or imprisoned thousands of Falun Gong disciples, whose "crime" is aspiring to Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance."

Falun Gong practitioners' chosen form of protest is group meditation, which is dignified and even moving

John F. Cullinan wrote in his article published on National Review on July 27, "Falun Gong members gathered in Copley Square to call attention to the Chinese regime's persecution of their fellow believers. Their chosen form of protest was group meditation, accompanied by a folk singer relating their plight. It was dignified, even moving."
