Dehui Court Secretly Tries Practitioner Zhang Xuedong


(Clearwisdom.net) On July 2, 2004, the court of Dehui, Jilin Province, tried Dafa practitioner Zhang Xuedong, calling it a court investigation and evidence gathering procedure. Before the trial, the authorities deployed guards and patrol police near the court.

A while ago, when they secretly tried 13 practitioners, they never expected that practitioners outside the court would play tapes of the facts about Dafa over loudspeakers they brought with them. The 13 practitioners inside the courtroom also surprised them, shouting "Falun Dafa is good." Even the relatives of the tried practitioners spoke out in court to expose and denounce the authorities' criminal deeds.

Practitioners' righteous thoughts and righteous deeds left the authorities with much lingering fear. So this time, they blocked the news of the trial, not even notifying Zhang's relatives. They deployed hundreds of police and called on many helpers to present themselves in the court to make a show of their strength. They lied to cover up their brutality, framed practitioners with ridiculous charges, and even resorted to torture to get what they wanted as evidence. The trial was intended to put innocent people behind bars while trampling upon their basic human rights.

In addition, on March 25, 2004, police in Guojia Town, Dehui City, arrested practitioners Wang Xingxiang, Wang Guohua, and Zhu Hong, who were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Guojia Town. The policeman Bi Guoquan of the Guojia Town police station and another policeman surnamed Liu tortured Wang Xingxiang severely and broke one of her arms. When Wang's relatives requested to see her, the authorities lied, saying that she was being held elsewhere while they transferred her to the Changchun Police Hospital and detained her there temporarily to cover their criminal deeds. Wang Xingxiang has since been sent back to the Dehui detention center along with the other two practitioners.
