Dallas Practitioners Strongly Condemn the Jiang Faction's Terrorist Act (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The world is shocked at the shooting incident in South Africa that Falun Gong practitioners were shot during the visit of Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong and Commerce Minister Bo Xilai. At noon of July 2, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Dallas, Texas held a press conference in Kennedy Square in downtown and strongly condemned the Jiang faction's terrorist act in hiring gunmen to shoot practitioners. Local Chinese and English media covered the event and interviewed Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners held banners reading "Falun Dafa" and "Truth, Compassion, Tolerance." They also made a new large banner in both Chinese and English reading "Strongly Condemning Jiang Regime's Terrorist Acts of Employing Hired Assassins," which expressed their particular attention to the shooting incident in South Africa.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu said, "Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong and Commerce Minister Bo Xilai who follow Jiang Zemin tightly in the persecution of Falun Gong arrived in South Africa on the evening of June 26 to have a four-day visit. On June 27, the Falun Dafa Information Center released news that Falun Gong practitioners would hold peaceful appeals. On June 28, nine Falun Gong practitioners from Australia arrived in South Africa and planed to sue the Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong for his crime of genocide.

"The nine practitioners went to Presidential Guest House in Pretoria, capital of South Africa, by two cars. On their way, at about 8:30 p.m., a white car suddenly opened fire at the second car from behind targeting the tire and driver. At least five shots hit the car."

The practitioners also analyzed the shooting incident and talked about Jiang regime's gunshot case and its relation to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The Jiang faction not only applies state terrorism in China to persecute peaceful Falun Gong practitioners but also exports the terrorist acts overseas. The practitioners strongly condemned the terrorist act and called on the international community to be aware of the Jiang faction's state terrorism and help end the brutal persecution.
