(Clearwisdom.net) According to a report on clearwisdom.net on July 6, at lease 1000 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death since the Jiang regime started to persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999. Upon hearing this news, San Francisco Falun Gong practitioners appealed to Chinese Consulate on the evening of July 6. Practitioners strongly demanded that the Chinese government and the international community to bring the chief perpetrator Jiang Zemin and his accomplices to justice.

Ms. Xu drove more than 1 hour from south Bay to participate in this appeal. She recounted why Jiang persecutes Falun Gong: Since Falun Gong's public introduction in 1992, practitioners all strive to be good people by following the "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" principles and countless people obtained healthy body and mind through practicing Falun Gong. Falun Gong thus was very popular in China. By 1999, it was estimated that about 100 million Chinese were practicing Falun Gong. Because of Jiang's jealousy, against will of other Politburo standing committee members and the entire Chinese government, Jiang abused his political power to launch and implement a massive persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms Xu said that Jiang ordered the creation of the notorious "610 office" to specialize in persecuting Falun Gong and systematically carry out his persecution policy to "Defame them, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically" and "any Falun Gong practitioner beaten to death is to be counted as a suicide and the body shall be directly cremated without investigating the person's identification".. Among those who have been persecuted to death, are elders and youths including an eight-month old baby.

According to an investigative report by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), the following torture techniques have been used against Falun Dafa practitioners in China: shocking with electric batons; forcing the practitioners to stand for a long time; using the "Tiger Bench" (1); branding the practitioners' bodies with red-hot irons; pouring boiling water over practitioner's backs, then scrubbing the wounds with a toothbrush, followed by rubbing salt into the wounds; forcing the practitioners to kneel for long periods of time, handcuffing them, burning their bodies with fire, burning their muscles and private parts with cigarettes; releasing guard dogs, snakes and scorpions to bite practitioners; forcing the practitioners to stand on a red-hot iron rod; exposing practitioners to toxins and poisonous fumes, hanging them up by their handcuffs; force-feeding with hot pepper water and human waste; stuffing used women's sanitary napkins and filthy cleaning rags into the practitioners' mouths; raping the women and carrying out other forms of sexual assault; injecting practitioners with nervous system damaging drugs; subjecting them to sleep deprivation for over 20 days at a time; electrically shocking female practitioners on the mouth, genitalia and anus; tying four toothbrushes together with brushes facing outward and forcing them into female practitioners' vaginas; confining practitioners in water dungeons; torturing them with the "five horses split the body" (2); freezing punishment (3); forcing practitioners to stand under the scorching sun in the summer; whipping them with various types of whips (including leather whips, a whip made of steel wire, and clubs covered in rubber); insertion of bamboo slivers under practitioners' fingernails; long-term slave labor, and many other forms of brutal physical and mental torment.

Mr. Bian was persecuted in China, he said that the persecution has reached a irrational extent. The fact that Jiang regime has resorted to extreme measures to persecute Falun Gong reveals Jiang's criminal nature, desperation and fear. Practitioners should further increase efforts in clarifying truth of Falun Gong and the persecution to expose Jiang regime's criminal nature. Mr. Bian called upon all governments, international organizations and all kind-hearted people to act swiftly to end this genocide and bring Jiang to justice.

Bay area practitioner Ms. Shen said that the persecution has resulted more practitioners deaths. She called on all people with sense of justice to speak out on this issue and help end the persecution.

The persecution orchestrated and maintained by Jiang Zemin has not only directly persecuted 100 million Falun Gong practitioners and their family members worldwide, but also persecuted every human being indirectly because it is targeting the essence of human nature, the "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" principles. Many civilians have been misled by Jiang regime's propaganda and thus misunderstand or even hate and fear Falun Gong. There are also many who have been misled by the regime have been used to directly persecute Falun Gong.

Jiang Zemin must be held accountable for this persecution. During Jiang's U.S. visit in October, 2002, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit to a U.S. federal court against Jiang Zemin who was charged for Genocide, crimes against humanity and torture. Since then, many lawsuits against Jiang and his accomplices have been filed in many other countries such as Belgium, France and Germany.

Practitioners call on the international community not to tolerate or overlook the systematic killing of good people. Practitioner Adam said that practitioners hope Chinese people can see through the lies and resist the persecution.

Mr. Pan said that practitioners' rally is to raise awareness of the persecution among public and urge them to pay close attention to the brutal persecution and killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lu said that this persecution is the most brutal persecution in the history of mankind and he called on all circles of the society to jointly end Jiang regime's state terrorism.
