(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of June 30, the UK Falun Dafa Association held separate press conferences at the South African Embassy and the Chinese Embassy in London, strongly condemning the Jiang group's terrorist act of hiring assassins to shoot Falun Gong practitioners overseas and also calling on the South African authorities to investigate the incident, so that the victims can receive justice.

At the press conference, Lord Thurlow said in his speech that only the two prime persecutors of Falun Gong, Zeng Qinghong and Buo Xilai who had come to visit South Africa, had the motive to kill. This is the most serious threat to overseas Falun Gong practitioners yet. Then he explained the details of the incident. At six o'clock on the 28th June, nine Australian Falun Gong practitioners arrived at Johannesburg International Airport, South Africa. The intention of their journey was to help local Falun Gong practitioners to sue Zeng Qinghong and Buo Xilai. After the South African practitioners met them at the airport, they drove to the Presidential Guest House in Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, together in two cars. On the way there, a white car suddenly came up alongside them from behind and started shooting at the tires and the driver David Liang, who was the only person wearing a shirt with "Falun Dafa" in Chinese and English, in the second car that Australian Falun Gong practitioners had rented. After shooting, the white car quickly drove off. At the end of his speech Lord Thurlow called for all kind people to tell their friends and families about the truth of the Jiang group's persecution of Falun Gong, and to together condemn the most serious human rights violations in China over the past five years; he also called on the UK government to demand that the Chinese government stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

Ms. Helen Chantry from the UK Falun Dafa Association said that the UK Falun Dafa Association has handed a letter to the South African Embassy, asking the South African authorities to investigate the attempted assassination. The UK Falun Dafa Association will communicate with the South African Embassy more in the future in order to find out the progress of the investigation.

London practitioner Ms Xia Ze says, "I feel very shocked, because this is the Jiang group's most shameless persecution and threat to overseas Falun Gong practitioners. The means used are the most wicked and horrible. Furthermore, engaging in this kind of terrorist campaign in other countries can absolutely not be tolerated by the international community."

Falun Gong practitioners call for the governments of the world, the media and the people to condemn this act of violence towards Falun Gong practitioners, which is an act of state terrorism.
