Germany: Appeal at the South African Honorary Consulate in Dortmund (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the 16th of July 2004, practitioners from Dortmund and nearby cities went to the city's South African Honorary Consulate to appeal to the South African Government and people, asking them to pay attention to the shooting incident which took place in South Africa last month when Falun Gong practitioners were shot at by gunmen thought to be hired by Jiang's regime.

As it was a working day, many practitioners were not able to take part. However, practitioners showed a display board and two banners in German reading, "Reprimand the Jiang Group's Hiring Thugs" and "Stop the Torture and Killing in China." Apart from sending forth righteous thoughts and demonstrating the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, practitioners distributed leaflets to passers-by and told them about the Jiang group exporting state-run terrorism. When we went into the consulate to give them some informational materials, the Consul's secretary warmly greeted us and explained that the Consul could not see us as he was not there, but she agreed to pass the materials to him later on.

When practitioners were sending forth righteous thoughts, three middle school students passed by on their way home from school. Seeing the poster display reading, "Please Come Sit with Us," they came to sit behind the practitioners and tried to follow along with practitioners who were sending forth righteous thoughts. They also learned the exercises from the practitioners afterwards.
