Taiwan: Finally Practicing Falun Dafa (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In 1991, I started my second job and many of my new colleagues had religious beliefs. An idea that I would start cultivation practice in the Buddha School occurred to me. In 1999, my mother-in-law was hospitalized for liver cancer. I thought about my health and had an idea to learn Qigong [traditional Chinese exercises].

At the end of March 2002, I borrowed the book, Zhuan Falun [the principal teachings of Falun Dafa] from my friend. I finished reading the whole book within one week. Around 2 a.m. one night, I had just fallen asleep when I felt a powerful force in my lower abdomen swirling around, which might have been the Falun. It was a marvelous feeling.

When reading the book, Zhuan Falun for the second time, I was impressed most by Teacher's words,

I was so lucky to have learned Falun Dafa!

A few days later, I bought the Falun Dafa book, The Great Consummation Way of Falun Dafa, and the exercise music cassette. I learned to practice the exercises on my own from the book, and practiced by myself at home for over a month. However, I went to Falun Dafa practice sites because I was worried that I might be doing the hand gestures incorrectly practicing by myself. After a short while, I recovered from insomnia that had disturbed me for six years, bone and muscle pain, migraine, a stiff shoulder, gastroenteritis, and degenerative knee arthritis. I was delighted, and my family life became very happy. My husband told his friend, "If you want your wife to be good towards you, have her learn Falun Gong."

Such a beneficial practice system is persecuted in China, simply because Jiang Zemin was jealous of the 100 million people who had learned to practice Falun Gong. It has now been five years since Jiang's initiation of the persecution in 1999.

I participated in the candlelight vigil in front of the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial on July 20. More and more people have come to know the facts of Falun Gong because of practitioner's clarification of the truth worldwide. Lawsuits against Jiang have been filed in many countries. The persecution will surely end.
