Two Practitioners Win Appeal of Prison Sentences in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Shimin and Zhang Zhanyuan are two Falun Dafa practitioners in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. After being illegally sentenced, they appealed and succeeded.

In October 2002, Wang Shimin and Zhang Zhanyuan were held past the end of their detention terms. In November 2003, they were brought to court and officials plotted to illegally sentence them. With determined righteous thoughts, however, the two practitioners thwarted the plots against them.

On May 14, 2004, they were taken to court again. This time, without trial they were sentenced to 10 years and 8 years of imprisonment, respectively.

After sharing understandings, local practitioners realized the loophole they had in terms of forming one-body regarding this incident. Through sending forth righteous thoughts, clarifying the truth, using wisdom to communicate with the detained practitioners, etc., practitioners soon changed their impure notions. After considering the situation with righteous thoughts, we realized how to oppose the old forces' arrangements, and how to improve together. Finally, Wang Shimin and Zhang Zhanyuan appealed their illegal sentences and succeeded.

Another thing is that the Supreme Procuratorate has set up a hot line to report cases involving abuse of power that leads to severe property loss. The number is: +86-10-65252000, +86-10-65592000. Falun Dafa practitioners can use this to report the persecution they experience to this hot line. We hope practitioners and their family members can make good use of this opportunity to clarify the truth and rescue fellow practitioners who are illegally detained.
