(Clearwisdom.net) Zhang Zhong is a practitioner in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. After being in a coma for three days, he survived with the help of oxygen therapy and was released from Daqing Prison on July 23, 2004.

Zhang Zhong was illegally arrested in Spring 2002, and later sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment. In these two years, he was brutally tortured nearly to death several times. At one point, the only bodily sensation he had was in one of his toes! He could barely survive with the help of I.V.s and oxygen! Furthermore, his body was unable to absorb the I.V. nutrients, and he lapsed into a coma!

Many people in China and overseas have tried all means of appeal to rescue Zhang Zhong. Finally, his father picked him up from Daqing Prison and took him home. At that point, he was emaciated, and in a life-threatening condition.

Here we would like to thank all the kind people, both inside and outside of China, and fellow practitioners who have helped to rescue Zhang Zhong! We hope we can continue to rescue more Dafa practitioners who are illegally detained, so that they can join in the great current of Fa-rectification, and together we can fulfill our sacred mission of saving sentient beings!
