Indonesia: Promoting Dafa on the Island of Bali (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In July, 2004, Indonesia Falun Gong practitioners together with practitioners from other countries held a series of activities including a parade, torture exhibition and candlelight vigil to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa and the persecution to local residents and tourists.

About 100 practitioners first staged a solemn parade at a famous beach on the island, which attracted the attention of many local residents and tourists. The first group was comprised of practitioners holding photos of those who had been persecuted to death; the second group demonstrated how Chinese police torture practitioners. In the evening, practitioners held a candlelight vigil on the beach to commemorate fellow practitioners who had lost their lives during the persecution and to send righteous thoughts.

A local practitioner said: "We hope all people will come to learn the truth of the persecution and voice their concern."

Falun Dafa was first introduced to Bali by Indonesia practitioners in April, 2001. Now there are several hundred practitioners in Bali. Even some prisoners, teachers and students in a school for blind children have learned Dafa.
