Sweden: Mourning Practitioners Who Have Died As a Result of the Persecution in China (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net)On July 23, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners assembled outside Gothenburg Chinese Embassy and held a candlelit vigil to mourn for the more than one thousand Falun Gong practitioners who have died as a result of the persecution.

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises and sent righteous thoughts. Many vehicles passing by sounded their horns to express their support. It has been five years since the Jiang Regime first started to persecute Falun Gong. Unfortunately, this persecution has spread outside of China in different ways through Chinese Embassies and Consulates.

Through peaceful appeals practitioners hoped that the Chinese government representatives in the Embassy would express, on their behalf to China that they should stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong immediately. If we are talking about lives and resources, then this persecution's expense is huge, just like a disaster. We also asked for the Embassy's staff to not betray their conscience, not listen to the Jiang regime's illegal policies and not participate overseas in this persecution of innocent people.
