Utilizing Different Methods to Clarify the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) During the past several years, I have been illegally sent to the Fushun Forced Labor Camp several times. My family is not rich, but we were extorted out of 10,000 Yuan. [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China]

My wife is not a practitioner. She sells clothes, shoes and hats to support the family. I used to help my wife with the selling, but later I found out that she could handle it all by herself. So I said to her, "You can manage it alone now; I will find another job so that we can have a little bit more income." Luckily, one of our relatives had an unused tricycle, so I borrowed it and used it as a taxicab. I can meet a lot of people every day. I clarify the truth to them utilizing different methods.

I talked to different people from various angles. Sometimes I asked my customers, "Would you call someone who framed others a good person or bad person?" They all replied that this kind of person is bad. Then I told them about the persecution of our local practitioners and how the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" was used to frame Falun Dafa. Sometimes I prepared a few beautiful cards with the words "Falun Dafa is good" on them and hand them to illiterate, older people. I told them to carry this card and remember, "Falun Dafa is good." As for young people or primary school students, I can also find a way to tell them about Falun Gong according to their specific situations and help them see through the slanderous propaganda.

Here are some of my stories:

Once two young men took a ride in my tricycle. I asked them if they knew anyone practicing Falun Gong. They said no and repeated some lies from TV. I analyzed the loopholes in the "Tiananmen Self Immolation" story for them, and they came to understand the real situation. When I handed them a pamphlet, one of them took it and said, "Let's tell others about it!"

A young man rode in my tricycle once. I asked him, "To speak again, how long should one wait after a tracheotomy operation?" He replied, "It must take a long time." I then said, "You saw that little girl in the 'self-immolation' program on CCTV. Only four days after her tracheotomy operation, she can speak again, as well as sing a song. Is it possible?" He suddenly understood and said, "I know the truth now!" After he got off the cab he said loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!" Sometimes, it takes just a short conversation to help someone see the truth.

One day I talked to a customer about Falun Gong and gave him a VCD. But he said, "I cannot watch it because I don't have a VCD player at home." After arriving at his destination, I gave him some literature about the persecution of Falun Gong and said, "Since you cannot watch the VCD, please read this instead!" He took it and after thinking about it, he took the VCD as well.

As I got rid of more of my attachments, I started to tell others about Falun Gong, in addition to my customers and acquaintances.

When I saw someone waiting for a bus at the bus stop I would take the opportunity to go over and talk to him, "Would you agree that a person should not only listen to one side of story?" Most of them would reply yes. I then gave them some literature and told them to read it at home and pass it on to their friends and relatives.

Once I gave the material to a stranger. She said, "What kind of situation do we have here? You dare to distribute this?" I said, "A stranger has not asked you for anything, yet his life is at stake for giving you this. He did it for your own good with risk to himself." After hearing this, she seemed to understand suddenly and said, "You are right!" Then she gladly accepted the literature.

Another time I gave a VCD to a lady waiting for a bus. She asked, "What's it about?" I replied, "About bringing Jiang Zemin to justice." She said she would like to take a look.

Once I was telling someone about the real story of Falun Gong. Two people came to ask me for directions. After I told them, they left. After I finished my story, I went to catch up with those two people, who had gone far away. I gave them the VCD and they thanked me sincerely. I realized that these people have a predestined relationship with me.

Sometimes someone would give me an ad. I would reply, "Please take one from me as well." Then I give them some information about Dafa.

Once I gave a handout to the person sitting next to me on the bus. Because I had the attachment of fear, I gave it out only before I was about to get off. One person said, "Why didn't you give it to us earlier?" I realized two things - one is that all people have their knowing sides, and they are eager to learn the truth! The other is a hint from Teacher to help me get rid of my attachment to fear.

Later, I went to a market to distribute materials. The market was full of people. Sometimes I went there alone, and at other times I went with another practitioner. We handed out a lot of information each time. The result was quite good.

Occasionally I felt sad when seeing the literature get thrown away. Once I picked up one booklet that was half torn. I thought that a predestined person would understand, even though it was damaged. Sure enough, after one person read it, he really learned the truth!

Once a fellow practitioner told me that not many people go to distribute Dafa literature in his hometown. After I heard about it, I prepared several hundred packages and asked a fellow practitioner who can drive a car to go to that practitioner's hometown with me. The place is about 60 miles away from my home and the road is quite uneven. Nevertheless, we gave the literature to every family in the village.

Sometimes we ran into people who could not understand us or even said derogatory or bad words. I ignored it. He says his words, and I do what I should do. I only do what a Fa-rectification Dafa practitioner should do, fortified with righteous thoughts and righteous actions in the time period that Teacher has given us for truth clarification. I will walk my path well, be worthy of Master's merciful and arduous salvation, and fulfill my historic mission.

In the process of telling people about Falun Gong and distributing materials, I often recalled two poems written by our Teacher, "A Great Enlightened Being does not fear hardships, having forged an adamantine will, and with no attachment to living or dying, he walks his path of Fa- rectification openly and nobly." ("Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions") "As Dafa practitioners tell people the facts, it's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths; Shredding apart the rotten demons' lies, lose no time and save them! Hurry up and tell them!" ("Hurry Up and Tell Them")
