Minghui School Holds Summer Camps in New York and New Jersey (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Two sessions of summer camps jointly held by Minghui Schools in New York and New Jersey were concluded recently. About 40 children from 6 to 15 years of age from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Philadelphia had a good and meaningful time together.

Teachers and students from the Minghui schools utilized the four days of each session of summer camp effectively. They maintained 6 to 7 hours of group study of Falun Dafa books, practicing the exercises, discussion and sending forth righteous thoughts twice daily along with practitioners around the world. Teachers also showed truth-clarification videos and explained the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The children wrote to the Chinese government, the police and practitioners being imprisoned, to call for an end to the persecution and to support those practitioners who are persistently and peacefully protesting the persecution (these letters were already posted on Clearwisdom.net).

This year, two non-practitioner parents also sent their children to the Minghui school summer camp. The positive changes in the two children after learning Dafa made their parents aware of the grace of Dafa. After the summer camp, the two children attended classes in the Minghui School with their parents accompanying.

After the summer camp, the Minghui School received much positive feedback. The children enjoyed doing the exercises, sending forth righteous thoughts and reading Dafa books. One child said in his experience sharing that he yearned for Minghui school summer camp and looked forward to the next session.
