Practicing Falun Dafa while Facing Pressure to Relinquish My Belief--Experiencing the Greatness of Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Several days ago I received my admission notice to a university. Xiaoyue (pseudonym to protect this person from retaliation) and I were both admitted to top universities after earning a high grade on our entrance exams. Looking back on the hardships that came up over the past several years, I have realized more of Teacher's mercy to save people, and the unlimited wisdom, which Falun Dafa has given us.

Since I started practicing Falun Dafa, all my classmates have always trusted me, and the grades I received in my studies were quite high. My teachers also gave me excellent evaluations. However, after finding out that I practice Falun Dafa, the leaders of our school required me to come their office where they threatened and berated me for continuing to practice Falun Dafa, which hindered me in my normal studies. Nevertheless, whenever I went to our principal's office, I would bow and offer a respectful greeting to all the teachers, and bowed in good-bye when I left.

Once, they talked to me and tried to force me to give up my belief in Falun Dafa. They said, "You are too stubborn, and seriously mentally poisoned." Quoting from the government propaganda they said, "As you can see, so many of your people already died." I told them with a smile, "It is explicitly pointed out in our Falun Dafa teachings that killing or taking ones life is wrong. Claims of numbers of deaths like that is a fabricated story to frame Falun Dafa practitioners." They continued to ask, "Why did you oppose the government, besieging Zhongnanhai (the Chinese central government compound)?" I told them, "We didn't besiege anyone and we don't oppose the government. Instead, we only exercised our civil rights properly in a peaceful and non-violent manner. We trusted our government and went to appeal honestly, in the hope of telling people about the benevolence of Falun Dafa through our own experiences. Unexpectedly, before we finished our words, they treated us with detention and beating." The school officials asked again, "You are so infatuated with it. However, does your Teacher take care of you? He has moved abroad." I spoke to them with a determined voice, "More than anyone else, our Teacher treasures our life very much. Also, our Teacher was invited to go to the US before the persecution of Dafa; he never sought asylum." I decided to behave well to display that Dafa is noble and glorious, showing people what kind of people Dafa practitioners are.

Afterwards, all my teachers talked to me and expressed their opinions again and again, "Being a good student like you are, why do you practice Falun Dafa?" Whenever I heard this I would answer with a smile, "It is because Falun Dafa makes me so good!"

Facing the midterm exam, I was not only under pressure from the school and my family, but also under pressure from society. Deceived by Jiang's lies and the propaganda, my relatives didn't understand me, my father beat me, and even expelled me from my home. All this didn't shake my firm belief in Dafa. Because I would not go against my conscience and renounce my belief in Falun Dafa and because my family was terrified of the persecution, some of them accused me of being strange, someone who did not listen to them and who was without human feelings whatsoever. I always tried hard to do well and put their needs first. Whenever this kind of thing occurred, I always recalled Teacher's teachings and set a strict requirement for myself. Come to think of it, whenever I firmly persisted in Dafa, everything would turn out favorably. For example, at one point, it seemed that I would be expelled from the school instantly for sticking to my belief, yet, somehow I still was permitted to continue my studies. Many thanks to Teacher for constantly protecting me.

No matter how much hardship I suffered, I would always require myself to behave according to Dafa and try to be lenient with people. All my classmates around me were willing to protect me. Seeing the school leaders' rude and unreasonable treatment of me, my classmates felt angry and said to me, "How can you tolerate this?" I just dismissed it with a smile, because I was a Dafa practitioner and Dafa requires us to consider others first and ourselves second, and to have no complaint, much less hatred when receiving unfair treatment.

It was truly miraculous that I always got the first place in general exams or any other exams, even in very unfavorable situations. For example, my family members once expelled me from home the day before I was to take a general exam. Studying for my exam was, of course, impossible.

On the day of my graduation exam, the leaders of our school called me in again to pressure me to renounce Falun Dafa and give up my practice. I clearly expressed to them that I would never renounce my belief. Before leaving, I gave them a deep bow and gave them a respectful goodbye.

In my high school studies, I often received the highest marks. I held myself to strict requirements everywhere and told ordinary people about the most unjust treatment in history Dafa has received. Xiaoyue and I both hoped that all people around us would come to facts regarding the persecution of Falun Dafa. We tried our best to hold ourselves to a high standard and looked inside when we encountered any problem. After several years of truth clarification, our classmates all have, to varying degrees, come to know the facts about Dafa. Nowadays, there are always questions in our school exams that defame Falun Dafa, which are awarded a lot of points if they are completed. Who can resist the temptation and not do this? However, one of my classmates told me, very firmly, "If any question in the college entrance exam is defaming Falun Gong, I will not do it even if high points are attached to it." Facing my awakened classmate, I felt great peace in my heart.

Originally, Xiaoyue didn't do very well in her studies. As she kept practicing Dafa, her studying became better and better. She told me, "I really want to cry out to the whole world that without Dafa, I would not have my present life. Falun Dafa is great!"

I think to myself, "One day human beings will be able to see the glory and splendor of Dafa."
