Sweden: Practitioners Talk to Tourists about the Persecution during the Gothenburg Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 6, 2004, the annual Gothenburg Festival started in Gothenburg city center. In the bustling streets of the city, many tourists from Europe and other countries around the world could be seen. The people of northern Europe sat out in the streets and basked in the sun.

For several days in a row, among the leisurely and carefree crowd, a group of Swedish Falun Gong practitioners continuously chatted with people about the practice and persecution, distributing leaflets, demonstrating the exercises and asking for signatures to appeal for an end to the persecution. Many came and read the display boards, listened to the practitioners, signed the petition and some asked for the location and time of our nearest practice site.
