What Happened When I Neglected to Study the Fa with a Calm Mind

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago I found myself busy with some work and neglected to study the Fa (1). My lack of Fa study brought about some interference to the state of my cultivation and also to my everyday life. When I sent forth righteous thoughts, I saw people in ancient clothing (which I identified as the black hands of the old forces) set up a huge pot, which they then filled with poison and herbs. When the potion was cooked, they served it to me and asked me to drink it. I realized that they were persecuting me. I said to myself, I am a Falun Dafa practitioner during the Fa-rectification period. I only walk the path arranged by our Master (2). I have the Teacher and the Fa with me. I don't acknowledge the arrangement of the old forces. So I strengthened my righteous thoughts to eliminate the black hands of the old forces and the rotten demons and requested Master Li's help. As my righteous thoughts became stronger and stronger, a few minutes later, I found that the black hands disappeared and even the pot disappeared.

Through this, I enlightened that no matter how busy we are or how much work we have to do, we still have to study the Fa with a calm mind. This is the key to ensure the improvement of our character. I also enlightened to the fact that when we come across interference and persecution, we have to keep a calm mind and look at it with righteous thoughts so as to be able to steadfastly walk the path arranged by Master. If we do not acknowledge the arrangement of the old forces, then they will no longer have an effect.
