How We Succeeded in Reversing the Course Walked by Brainwashed Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) We have been trying to bring practitioners who were tortured and brainwashed in the labor camps back to their practice of Falun Dafa. In our county, several hundred practitioners were released from detention centers and brainwashing classes. After they were released, as long as they kept frequent contact with other steadfast practitioners, they could catch up with the progression of Fa-Rectification. However, for the practitioners released from labor camps, they had gone seriously "astray along an evil path," so the task to bring them back to the righteous path has been rather difficult.

In my county, 29 practitioners were detained in labor camps and 27 of them were released. However, 12 of them have not regained their righteous thoughts yet. They formed a small group and frequently got together. If we rectified the thinking of one person, that person would be quickly led astray, once he or she met other people who had been brainwashed. In particular, some of them even passed around fake lectures and other bad materials. At the beginning of April, one practitioner's third eye was opened unexpectedly and she saw many wretched demons were controlling those practitioners who had gone astray and were damaging Dafa. She was greatly shocked and felt that the situation was very serious. She met other practitioners and suggested that the task to clean out these wretched demons and dark minions could not be deferred any longer. Other practitioners also thought that we must solve these problems now and could not let those wretched demons control brainwashed practitioners any more.

Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Western U.S. Fa Conference,"

"As their master, I won't leave behind a single Dafa disciple in Mainland China, except for those who've gone over to the opposite side and can no longer be saved. (Applause) I'm thinking of all of them."

Teacher is thinking of every one of us, his compassion is immense, he does not dwell on the mistakes of any one individual. Teacher is waiting for the practitioners who have gone astray to return to the righteous path. The practitioner realized that it was Teacher who gave her this supernormal capability, "Cultivation is up to you, gong is up to the master". Teacher was reminding us to help bring those practitioners who had gone astray along an evil path back to the righteous path and that they were also part of Teacher's 100 million disciples. In the early days before the persecution, these people were also genuine practitioners and were the major forces of Fa-Rectification. They had gone astray in their understanding and were brainwashed to be against Dafa, only because they were persecuted, tortured and subjected to propaganda under force for extended periods. They were put under great pressure and were persecuted for a long time in the detention centers and forced labor camps, and their physical body, spirit, and families endured great sufferings and were marked with scars and bruises. We must recognize and understand their tribulations with compassion.

Six or seven of us decided to start the battle to eliminate the wretched demons and dark minions controlling the brainwashed practitioners. We made plans to first bring into play the mighty divine power of Dafa disciples as one body. We asked fellow practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts for two weeks to eliminate the evil behind those who had gone astray and to clean up their family environments. Second, we organized over eight practitioners who are diligent in studying the Fa and have strong righteous thoughts, and divided them into small groups to help the 12 who had gone astray. We made good use of our time and all opportunities to discourage them from forming groups with each other. We would not retreat when encountering difficulties, because gods in the new universe will not fail. Third, while saving those deviated practitioners, it was very important to send forth righteous thoughts at a close distance. If possible, more practitioners should go along, and while some would do the talking, others could send forth righteous thoughts to increase the density of the energy field to eliminate the evil elements in other dimensions. Fourth, since their family situations and environments are often not very good, so we would visit their families when possible. If not, we would try to ask him/her out. If our minds and hearts fall on a righteous foundation, Teacher will arrange everything perfectly.

After completing the preparation and finalizing our plan, we started the battle against the old forces to bring deviated practitioners back to the righteous path. As a matter of fact, it was also a battle between the righteous and the evil. We understood that if we did well, we would lead them back to the infinitely wonderful and righteous path to godhood. If we didn't do well, the old forces would drag them to hell.

Whenever we think about something and want to do something, the dark minions of the old forces could see our thinking and plans, so they would not simply wait to be eliminated. They would prepare for a final fight against us. Accordingly, while meeting those who had gone astray, some of them would make sarcastic remarks and sneer at us, some would quote Teacher's words out of context, and when they had run out of words, the evil things behind them would show their true colors. They would say that they would not practice cultivation any more, or they would get really angry and say: Even if I go down to hell, I will take you down with me as well.

One young female practitioner said very bad words to us and tried to push us out. After her mother said a few words to criticize her behavior, she went inside the house and threatened to call the police. She was stopped by our righteous thoughts. After leaving her house, we did not feel frustrated. We went to another practitioner's house and sent forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate the demons on her body as well as those in her house. Two days later, another group of practitioners went to talk to her again, and it was a totally different story. She immediately admitted her mistakes and regretted what she had done to us a few days earlier, and she also said that she would study the Fa diligently. She was a newlywed. Her husband had married her only after she promised not to practice cultivation any more. In order to practice cultivation righteously and openly, she told her husband that she would continue to practice and would follow the path of "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance".

After some practitioners regained their righteous thoughts, their zealotries emerged again and they appeared to have extreme conduct and opinions. We have paid special attention to these things to identify and correct them in time.

Before they suffered the persecution, these practitioners were genuine practitioners and were the major forces in validating Dafa. However, because they did not study the Fa well in the early days of their cultivation, and were lacking righteous thoughts, and because they still have a lot of human attachments, that when they were tortured and suffered long-time persecution in the evil dens, and when they could not see Teacher's new lectures and were forcibly brainwashed by the evils who instilled evil stuff into their minds, they eventually went astray in their understanding. They made mistakes and some even committed crimes against Dafa. However, Teacher's compassion is immense and Teacher is not concerned over mistakes of human beings. As long as these practitioners can get back on the righteous path and do their very best to make up the loss, Teacher will save them and will not abandon them. We should try our best to offer salvation to them with compassion that can melt steel, and with the mighty power of the Fa.

We patiently worked with the 12 who had gone astray, and within a couple of weeks, they made a complete change in their way of thinking. They started to study the Fa diligently and quickly caught up with the progression of Fa-Rectification, adding new strength in the process of Fa-Rectification.

Our experience is that when we have strong righteous thoughts, we can do things quicker and better and will not be easily interfered with. If our righteous thoughts are not strong, we would be easily interfered with, and some practitioners would feel fatigued or pain in some part of their body. Some had a high fever or had family problems. But when we study the Falun Dafa teachings more and intensively sent forth righteous thoughts, the interferences quickly disappeared.

Also, because these deviated practitioners did not study the Falun Dafa teachings for a year or two after they were released from labor camps, their sickness karma returned to their body. Furthermore, because they were being controlled by the wretched demons, most of them were very weak and their facial complexions were yellowish and bluish and some had numerous tribulations. So we studied Zhuan Falun, Touring North America to Teach the Fa and Teacher's other lectures together. In the discussion, we would directly point out their attachments and the origins of their attachments with compassion. At critical moments, we would also seriously point out their shortcomings on their human side. Even though our words were somewhat blunt, they were based on immense compassion, and we said those words in order to save the future of their eternal life. When they understood this, they would burst into tears to express their tremendous gratitude.

In China, there are still a great number of practitioners released from labor camps and other dark places, who have not regained their righteous thoughts, and many practitioners still cannot cultivate themselves diligently. We hope that more diligent practitioners in various areas can recognize the urgency of the matter and hurry up to save those who have gone astray and to help them catch up with the progression of Fa-Rectification so that they will be able to attain their own consummation, and to also strengthen the forces of Fa-Rectification at the same time.
