1. [Southwest China] The Persecution Account of Several Practitioners
Dafa practitioner Mr. Hao Mingxin, in his 30's, is a technician at the Shuangliu Airport in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. He was arrested in Kunming City and then sent to a detention center where he was brutally beaten and bruised by prisoners ordered to so do by lawless police. He sustained two broken ribs. Later he was sentenced to five years of imprisonment. Currently he is being detained at the No.7 Section of Yunnan Province's No.1 Prison.
Dafa practitioner Yang Mingzhong is an assistant chief of the Shibo Police Precinct affiliated with Kunming City's Police Department in Yunnan Province. He was illegally sentenced to prison after being arrested and is currently being detained at the No.11 Section of Yunnan Province's No.1 Prison.
Dafa Practitioner Zhou Mofang is a professor of Kunming City's Woods School. He/she was once sentenced to forced labor. Because of his/her determination to Dafa, he/she was again arrested and sentenced to imprisonment. Currently, he/she is being held at the No.2 Section of Yunnan Province No.1 Prison.
More than twenty Dafa practitioners were detained at a prison in south China. Since 2000, more than ten so-called "reformed" practitioners (who gave up the belief in Dafa due to brutal torture) saw through the evil persecution of Jiang's regime and announced that they would come back to the way of Fa-rectification and continue to cultivate in Dafa. As a result, the reformation ratio becomes zero.
2. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Hong Has Recently Been Sent to Jinan City's Brainwashing Class
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Hong is an employee of Rizhao City's Foreign Ships Agent Company in Shandong Province. It was reported that recently Zhang Hong was detained at Jinan City's Brainwashing Class.
3. [Jiang'an City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Gan Yifen Is Sentenced to Forced Labor
In May 2004, lawless police officers arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Gan Yifen from Jiang'an City, Sichuan Province. On July 5, she was sent to the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong City for one year.
Gan Yifen had been arrested three times. Once she was illegally detained for half a month and fined 4,000 Yuan (1) by local police merely for going to Beijing to appeal.
4. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Arrest of Practitioner Wang Changfeng
Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Changfeng, 65 years old, lives at Yongqing Street in Jiang'an District, Wuhan City. On June 25, more than ten lawless officials from Jiang'an District's "610 Office" (2) together with people from the Yongqing Street Police Precinct drove three cars to take Wang Changfeng to Jiang'an District's Brainwashing Class because Wang Changfeng gave the Yongqing Street Police Precinct chief three books, including Who Is New China.
Recently, Wuchang District's "610 Office" personnel and police in Wuhan City again used the excuse of checking registered permanent residents to arrest Dafa practitioners. Yang Zhenwu was arrested and a large number of truth-clarifying materials and equipment were confiscated. It is now known that two truth-clarifying material production centers in Wuchang District have been destroyed.
