Teacher has decided to change the following passage in Zhuan Falun from "before him there were seven Buddhas of the primeval age" to "before him there were six Buddhas of the primeval age". (Changing from "seven" to "six")

Aside from this, there are five places in the lectures below that refer to "seven Buddhas", and they should also be changed to "six Buddhas".

1. "Lecture at the Conference in New Zealand"

"[But] Buddha Sakyamuni said that there were seven primeval Buddhas before him, so is the Fa taught by the seven primeval Buddhas the Buddha Fa?" (two places to change)

2. "Lecture in Sydney"

"Some may still question, "but what you teach is not the same as the scriptures from Buddhism." Did Buddha Sakyamuni teach the Fa taught by the seven primeval Buddhas?"

3. Essentials for Further Advancement, "The Buddha Fa and Buddhism"

"Did the seven Buddhas before Buddha Sakyamuni teach the Dharma Buddha Sakyamuni taught?"

4. "Lecture at the Conference in Singapore"

"Of course, Sakyamuni also mentioned Buddha Amitabha and the seven primeval Buddhas. He said that Tathagatas are as innumerable as the grains of sand in the Ganges river, etc."

Teacher wants everyone to correct the books in their possession.

2. Notice Regarding Destroying Unofficial Versions of "Teaching the Fa at the Beijing International Experience Sharing Conference" (1996) and "Teaching the Fa at the Singapore Falun Dafa Association Inauguration Ceremony" (1996)

Since "Teaching the Fa at the Beijing International Experience Sharing Conference" and "Teaching the Fa at the Singapore Falun Dafa Association Inauguration Ceremony" (Chinese edition) have been officially published at http://Falundafa.org in 2004, all of the non-official editions, including printed versions, hand-copied versions, tape recordings and videotapes of these two lectures must be destroyed in a timely manner. The standard will be the edition that Teacher officially published in 2004.

Addendum: Websites maintained by Dafa disciples in various locations are asked to periodically verify and refresh their Dafa books and new lectures, so as to maintain consistency with the editions on Falundafa.org and Clearwisdom.net

Dafa disciples in various locations have voluntarily established many websites for the convenience of local residents, and they have introduced and provided Dafa books, exercise music, information about the practice sites, etc. Because only some of the corrections have been announced through official notices, the websites often have trouble updating their material in a timely fashion, often leading to their Dafa books and new lectures being out of sync with Falundafa.org and Clearwisdom.net. Dafa disciples maintaining these websites in various locations are asked to make sure to periodically download the books and lectures from Falundafa.org and Clearwisdom.net, so as to put a stop to the confusion.
