(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Mr. Wang Yan, who participated in a TV signal interception in Hebei Province to broadcast a Dafa documentary video explaining the truth about Falun Dafa, has been tortured in Xingtai's No.1 Detention Center, and is now in critical condition. We appeal to kind-hearted people around the world to lend a helping hand.

Wang Yan and his wife Li Yue were illegally arrested together on February 2, 2004. Before dawn one day in late June, Wang Yan escaped from the hospital where he was being detained in handcuffs and shackles, but a few days later he was captured again. After Wang Yan was arrested again, he went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. He is in critical condition now. There is information indicating that Li Yue has gone blind due to torture.
