(Clearwisdom.net) I feel unsurpassed glory to be able to join in the battle of righteousness against evil. It is like genuine gold being forged during the last stage. The righteous faith and righteous understanding obtained in the cultivation of Falun Dafa, as well as all our experience and knowledge, are sufficiently unfolded in the process of offering salvation to sentient beings. For Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioners, this is really a major event.

Signing petition against the persecution

At the beginning of the persecution, the evil was like dark clouds covering the entire sky. Falun Gong practitioners in China went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. Their courage astonished heaven and earth. Now, as the Fa-rectification prepares to draw to an end, it is like a strong wind dispersing the clouds. Overseas Falun Gong practitioners are going to New York to fulfill their missions, which also moves people's hearts. Practitioners' activities inside and outside China mutually echo each other, which displays the magnificent feat of practitioners validating the Fa in the human world.

This decisive battle in New York is determined by Dafa practitioners' Fa-rectification period cultivation, and on practitioners' understanding of the sacredness of this great battle.

Over the past three days of validating the Fa here in New York, I have had no time to eat lunch, yet I did not feel hungry. Sometimes, I did not get the chance to drink water for the whole day yet I did not feel thirsty. I just kept talking to people to clarify the truth all day long but I did not feel any strain or discomfort in my voice, nor did I feel sleepy. I myself even found it amazing. I thought: "No one is able to stop me. I will completely eradicate the evil factors that damage Dafa." Therefore, my mind was very clear and my thoughts were exceptionally agile. While telling people about Falun Gong and the persecution, I constantly gained new insights and understandings.

All practitioners participating in the anti-torture exhibition on the busy streets cooperated with each other. Some held banners, some demonstrated the tortures suffered by practitioners in China, and some played the role of the vicious police officers who were torturing practitioners. They were all sending forth righteous thoughts. The field was very pure. People who passed by were all moved. Practitioners talked to people to explain to them what is happening in China. They spoke with clear and confident voices and much expression, and presented solid facts.

Watching our anti-torture exhibition, some New Yorkers shed tears. One woman was choked with sobs when she signed the petition against the persecution. She embraced our practitioners. A gentleman also wept. Many people had tears in their eyes. In just two days, more than 500 people took the initiative to sign the petition at our event site. Some people went home and wrote a letter to President Bush and to the Chinese Embassy and then came back to give the letter to us. Some went back home and phoned us to give us contact information for media representatives that they knew of. Some provided information about organizations that may be helpful to us.

People with predestined relationships requested to learn the Falun Gong exercises on the spot. They asked for information on local practice sites. Some lingered around for quite a long time and were hesitant to leave. Some people came several days in a row to watch and support the anti-torture exhibition.

The police officers allowed us to come back and hold the exhibition again the second day. They were also moved by our exhibition.

New Yorkers are not indifferent as some people thought they would be. When their conscience was awakened, when their knowing side was freed, they were indeed touched. A number of New Yorkers told us: "What you are doing is exceptionally great! A great many residents nearby now understand you. Thank you for coming to New York! You've touched New York and New York needs this kind of exhibition."

The crowds of people at the Stock Exchange on Wall Street, said to be the most indifferent in New York, also started having their hearts melt. They looked carefully at the informational posters, and practitioners took the initiative to distribute literature to them. Although it was a little hard to hand out literature in that busy place, there were still many people who accepted the truth-clarifying materials. An elderly Chinese practitioner spoke in plain and simple English, to clearly explain the persecution she encountered in China because of practicing Falun Gong. In the end she said, "Let us bring Jiang Zemin to justice!" She stood in a prominent place and people all listened to her. They were deeply moved. Right then we felt that countless evil factors in other dimensions were cleared away.

Whenever we sent forth righteous thoughts, more people would accept our flyers. For those who did not take the flyers, practitioners talked about the persecution facts so that they would hear and learn the truth that way. When we made eye contact with people, they generally took the literature, because the evil factors in other dimensions behind them were instantly eliminated. Some people who did not take the flyers often dared not look at us directly.

It is very important that Dafa practitioners take the initiative to clarify the truth on Wall Street. It is also important to hold signs and banners there, as these are Fa weapons that constantly clear the field of evil elements. Those signs and banners are very powerful. Many people looked at the posters. During rush hour when people were leaving work, practitioners stayed at major intersections and continued to clarify the truth. Under Dafa practitioners' righteous thought field, many people took the leaflets. Between one and two thousands leaflets were distributed each day. Although people's faces looked expressionless at first, Dafa practitioners' pure hearts moved them and the anti-torture exhibitions shocked them. Many people stopped to learn more about the persecution. Some people said that they also practiced other forms of qigong and would like to learn more about Falun Gong. A woman from Korea told us that her mother practiced Falun Gong.

One gentleman specifically came over to us and told us that he had read through book Zhuan Falun (1) and felt it was very good. He suggested that we demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises by the side of the anti-torture exhibition so that people could more easily understand what is going on.

At one point, dark clouds seemed to indicate a heavy rainstorm, but only a few drops of rain fell. The sun also came out of the clouds for about 20 minutes.

When our hearts are righteous and we are surefooted, there is no loophole for the evil to take advantage of. The rainstorm that was forecast did not take place during the daytime, but was arranged to occur in the late evening, which not only quenched the summer heat but also cleared away the remnants of the evil factors in other dimensions that were eradicated earlier by Dafa practitioners.

Practitioners are all making better preparations in our truth clarification efforts. Some have moved to New York. Some have designed portable posters that can be used by practitioners. Others are designing and printing flyers. Practitioners are all working hard.

Thus, a grand battle between righteousness and evil in the universe has begun.

We would like to know how Dafa practitioners are doing in another main battlefield -- Beijing. We look forward to reading reports on how fellow practitioners in China are collectively cleansing the field of Beijing.
