Vermont: Practitioners Participate in Bennington Battle Day Parade (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) Every August, Bennington Vermont holds activities
marking the Battle of Bennington during the U.S. Revolutionary War, and the
featured parade always attracts many tourists from Vermont and nearby regions.
This year the parade started at 12:30 p.m. on August 15. Practitioners from New
York and New England participated in this parade. Last year, a larger group of
practitioners participated in this parade, but this year fewer practitioners
were able to participate because many were in New York supporting events there.
Nevertheless, practitioners were welcomed by the crowd of several thousand
spectators who showed up to watch the parade. When the Falun Dafa practitioners'
procession passed by, many spectators requested materials. After the parade, some practitioners went to a Chinese restaurant to have a
late lunch. The practitioners, wearing yellow or blue shirts, were warmly
welcomed by the owner and employees. They all happily accepted Falun Gong
information and materials about the persecution in China.
