Russia: Falun Gong Enters the Daily Life of the People of Pjatigorsk (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 1999, Falun Gong practitioners have been cruelly persecuted in China and those who practice have bee tortured. However, the Chinese Government does not realize that today, after five years, Falun Gong has spread to every corner of the world, including our city Pjatigorsk in Russia.

In order to allow more people to understand the truth of this persecution and awaken the kindness in their hearts, Falun Gong practitioners from Pjatigorsk held activities to raise awareness in the park near the city centre on July 22 and July 24.

The pictures displayed included photos of how Falun Gong has spread worldwide and how Falun Gong practitioners are being cruelly persecuted in China, making a vivid contrast. Some practitioners performed the exercises in front of the display boards attracting many local residents and tourists. They asked for Falun Gong leaflets in droves. Ten Falun Gong practitioners and some young practitioners hand-made paper lotus flowers symbolizing holiness, purity and peace, and distributed them to the tourists.
