Teaching Pupils with "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and Changing the Environment through Truth Clarification

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a primary school teacher in Mainland China. In my everyday life and work, little by little, I tell my students the facts about Falun Dafa and the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." They have benefited a great deal.

When a conflict arose between two students, I asked each party to look inside himself or herself first, to check if he or she had done anything wrong, instead of just blaming the other party, then sharing the findings with the other side and apologizing. In the meantime, I asked the others to point out anything not meeting the standard for "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." After some time, the students in my class now know to look inside themselves. Whenever there is a conflict, they know on their own where something went wrong and don't need my advice. As a result, the whole class is more harmonious and happy.

In addition, I often tell them some spiritual stories. In connection with the current situation, I told them about karma and bad influences in other dimensions. They asked me what to do. I replied, "I have told you before that we should always remember..." All the students then answered loudly together, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance"! Some students received Falun Gong materials at home and brought them to school. I then asked them to pass those around. Some students even ask others to return these after they are done reading the handouts so that they can keep them.

My students have benefited a lot from Dafa. On the eve of the 2003 final exam, many students in my school got chicken pox. Several classes of 50-60 students had only 10-20 people escape the illness, so there was no way to give the exam. But amazingly, no one was absent from my class! I grasped this opportunity to tell our school officials and other teachers the real story of Falun Dafa. In the end, many of them came to a good understanding. When the "610 Office" attempted to send me to a brainwashing class, our school president and provost firmly resisted their demand. When the situation was intense, our provost was on the lookout for me. He said, "Don't be afraid. I will keep an eye out for you! When seeing them come, you just hide in one of the classrooms and we will say that you have not come to work." During 2003 Spring Festival, our provost sent a short message to my cell phone, which read "Happy Spring Festival, Dafa Disciples."

When our Dafa disciples become more and more pure and righteous in doing things, our road will become wider and wider. As we continue to clarify the truth, we will change our environment and the people around us will benefit as well. In the meantime, our safety is achieved. On the opposite end of the road, the more afraid we are, the worse our environment will be, and the more dangerous our situation will become.
