Minnesota, U.S.: Practitioners Participate in Community Festival Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of July 28, Minnesota Dafa practitioners participated in a community festival parade for the second year in a row. Last year, the Falun Gong group was honored with 2^nd place. This year, the practitioners' float was even more eye-catching. Many spectators started to mimic practitioners who were demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises on the float. Spectators waved their hands and shouted greetings to the practitioners.

St. Paul's Pioneer Press, the largest newspaper in St. Paul, published a photo report titled "Meditating Before the March" with a huge photo of a Japanese practitioner meditating on the float. Underneath the photo, the reporter wrote: "Minneapolis resident and Falun Gong member Akiko Tsutsui meditates before the start of the Rice Street parade in St. Paul as Kiara Anderson, 13, walks by Wednesday night. Anderson was a part of the parade's Avon products group. Falun Gong is an ancient practice for the mind, body and spirit that is guided by Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance."
