Sanshui Forced Labor Camp Creates Concentration Camp Atmosphere to Torture Dafa Practitioners
(Clearwisdom.net) After the Sixteenth Party Congress in November 2002,
the authorities at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Guangdong Province created a
"concentration camp" atmosphere and tortured more than 20 Dafa
practitioners held there with around-the-clock physical and mental abuse. The guards created an atmosphere of terror among the Dafa practitioners. The
Guangdong Province "610 Office," the Provincial Judicial Department,
the Provincial Labor Reeducation Bureau all sent special dispatchers to the
labor camp and Ma Liming, Sanshui Forced Labor Camp's assistant warden and Wang
Jialiang, the former head of the Education Section, went to the camp. Zhang
Qingmei, head of the Special Control Division and Chen Ruixiong, the deputy head
of the same division, took on the position as the head and deputy head of this
"camp within a camp." Ye Xiujia, the deputy head of the Education
Section, directed the mistreatment, intimidation, mental terror and torture
under this newly ordered persecution, and the guards along with inmates joined
in. The first group of Dafa practitioners sent to this concentration camp include
(the practitioner's hometown is in brackets): Huang Zhufeng (Gaozhou, Maoming City) The second session was from late March 2003 to past September 2003. This time
the perpetrators used "soft" methods. They first forced the
practitioners to stand or squat for one week or two, during which time the
practitioners were not allowed to sleep. Then they threw practitioners who
remained steadfast in their belief into solitary confinement cells and shocked
them with electric batons. The second group of Dafa practitioners include: Li Yuandong (Maoming) The third camp session was from around the 2004 Chinese New Year until now.
This time these perpetrators call the concentration camp Division Three. As of July 22, 2003, division head Zhang Qingmei had been transferred, and
the thoroughly planned acts of persecution went with him. Because of the
reduction in pressure, some people who had previously gone astray returned to
Dafa. As of January 1, 2004, only five or six practitioners out of the more than 50
practitioners had renounced their belief, and more than 20 practitioners stepped
forward to validate Dafa. The rest refused to cooperate with the evildoers. The
labor camp felt threatened and desperately intensified its tactics and planned
for them to be used long-term. They now call it Division Three and use it for
the special purpose of torturing determined Dafa practitioners. As of January 3, 2004, Wen and other newly dispatched guards arrived at
Division Three. After the Chinese New Year, another large-scale campaign of
abuse and mistreatment began. Some of the practitioners who had been sent to the
camp for the third time include: Zhong Qirong (Yunfu) We assume the following practitioners were also sent to this location but we
need to verify the accuracy of this information: Zeng Liuming (Zijin) Editor's note: looking at the names, the persecuted Dafa practitioners are
all men. August 19, 2004
