I was very fortunate to be able to clarify the truth with other fellow practitioners at the World Economic Forum held in New York City two years ago. There were many interesting experiences that I would like to share with everyone.

We divided into several small groups to distribute the information packages that other practitioners had thoughtfully prepared. Sometimes I was working with practitioners from Europe, U.S., and Taiwan.

There were numerous opportunities to meet various kinds of people in restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops in big hotels. Some were renowned professors, reporters, members of NGOs, or even high-ranking military officials from other countries. However, after a few days of walking around, sending forth righteous thoughts and giving out packages, I felt like we had not received any notable results. The notion of talking with a key figure from a world-class company never left my mind.

Following the conclusion of the forum, I helped with the packing at a place where practitioners frequently met over the last few days. Just then a young practitioner unknowingly walked passed Bill Gates [CEO of Microsoft]. We discovered that there was actually a business brunch nearby and decided to stay. After the meeting ended, I stopped an elderly gentleman at the door and handed him some materials. He was very friendly. After I clarified the facts to him with my halting English, he asked me what he could do to help. I asked him to inform more people about Falun Gong and its persecution. He told me that he would do that because he owned several newspapers. I couldn't help but marvel at the coincidence of it all. This unexpected result came right when we decided to go home because I temporarily let go of my attachment to results.

We participate in these events for a purpose and should look for opportunities instead of waiting or relying on others. We are here to clarify the facts and to save sentient beings, yet our mentalities play a significant role in determining what takes place. Teacher will arrange opportunities for us when he sees us accomplish our tasks without being attached to the outcome. With pure hearts we can thus truly accomplish what we set out to do. Cultivation is simply that miraculous.

With regard to sending forth righteous thoughts, through subsequent cultivation I realized that we should be more mature and rational. Especially in the regions where the evil is most concentrated, maintaining a pure and righteous heart is critical. We must not let the evil take advantage of our loopholes due to our immaturity, which then brings about losses to Dafa.

At this critical period of time, I would like to share my previous experiences with fellow practitioners. Please kindly point out anything inappropriate.
