Falun Gong Practitioners Suffer Inhumane Torture in Tailai Prison, Heilongjiang Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to renounce their
belief are inhumanely tortured at the Tailai County Prison in Heilongjiang
Province. The prison also tried to block the news from getting out. The prison police tied ropes and chains to practitioners' arms and legs, with
their faces down, and several bricks under their chests. It is similar to the
ancient torture called "separating the body by five horses" (1). The police also put an iron board under the hot sun, and then put
practitioners on top of the extremely hot board. Practitioners got blisters all
over their bodies. Then, the police would pour cold water on them to shock their
systems. A month ago, Harbin Prison in Harbin City sent over 20 Falun Gong
practitioners to the Tailai Prison to torture them. Further details are being
investigated. Note: (1) Separating the body by five horses is a torture where the victim is tied
to one end of five ropes from the victim's head, arms, and legs, and the other
end of the ropes are tied to five horses. The horses then run toward five
different directions to tear apart the body) Posting date: 9/11/2004 |
