A Further Report on the Persecution Experienced by Ms. Wang Xia in Inner Mongolia (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 30, Minghui.net, the Chinese version of Clearwisdom. reported on the plight of Wang Xia, a young woman from the Bayanzhuoer District of Linhe City, Inner Mongolia. Ms. Wang, 30 years old, was sentenced to 7 years in a forced labor camp for telling people the facts about Falun Gong. She was detained in the Huhehaote City Women's Prison. During the past two years, she has conducted hunger strikes to protest the persecution and has been force-fed. The prison authorities have also injected her with unknown drugs. Before she was detained, Ms. Wang weighed more than 120 pounds. She now only weighs about 45 pounds and lapses in and out of consciousness.

Wang Xia was abused in Huhehaote City Women's Prison to the point where her body is completely emaciated and she is near death.

In early August, Wang Xia was again hospitalized when she became critically ill. After several days of emergency rescue, she was out of life-threatening danger. However, because she was extremely feeble, she often lost consciousness. Recently, Wang Xia has just left the hospital, but her condition is still not optimistic. Overall, the time she spends in a coma has been reduced. Whenever she regains consciousness, she talks about the evil persecution to people around her, and tells them that Falun Dafa is great.

We call on all kind-hearted people of the world to pay close attention to Wang Xia's health condition, and give sympathy and support through different methods to Wang Xia and her family. We also ask that people expose and condemn the evildoings of the "610 Office" and the policemen who have persecuted Wang Xia, so that we can stop any further persecution.

1. Yang Xiangui: the person in charge of the National Security Brigade in Linhe City, Inner Mongolia. He was transferred from the Vice Squad to the Political Protection Section in early 2000. He often tortures Falun Gong practitioners.
