Dafa Practitioner Liu Youqing Relentlessly Persecuted, Her Non-Practitioner Husband Suffers "Guilt by Association" and is Detained for Seven Months

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Youqing from Wuhan City, Hubei Province was arrested when she appealed for Falun Gong in Beijing. She was subsequently locked up in Beijing and Wuhan City in a police station, a detention center, brainwashing class and prisons, a total of ten times. The authorities sentenced her to three years in prison. She has suffered all kinds of inhumane torture and excruciating pain.

During Ms. Liu's confinement in the Wuhan City Detention Center, the guards continuously used torture tools on her for over four months. She was forced to lie on the "Dead Person's Bed" for thirty-one days. Another form of torture she had to endure is called "Carry a sword in the back" for 31 days. (For a detailed description of these and other forms of torture used on Falun Dafa practitioners, see

http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html) and http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2002/2/3/18368.html)

During her detention in the Wuhan City Women's Prison Ms. Liu was deprived of sleep for eighteen consecutive days, which caused her to suffer a mental collapse, resulting in her not being able to live a normal life now.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Youqing's husband, Ye Yaohua, is not a Dafa practitioner. Nonetheless, Jin Zhiping, head of the No. One Section in the Qiaokou District Police Department and police officer Fan Huji from the Yijiadun Street Precinct arrested Ms. Liu's husband twice and sent him to brainwashing classes. They detained him for over seven months.

Ms. Liu's child was at that time studying in a vocational high school. When he/she got home and discovered that both parents were gone and the whole family was in deep distress after a search for them, the youngster suffered a huge shock and sat on the floor sobbing, overwhelmed by the uncertainty of the situation. Life was already very difficult because both parents had lost their jobs, but now their child too has completely lost his/her livelihood and had to ask for support from relatives. Thus, the persecution has also harmed this innocent young person, both mentally and physically.
