Radio France Internationale: Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Xia Is Tortured in Hohhot City Prison


(Clearwisdom.net) On Monday, September 13, 2004, Radio France Internationale broadcast the following report in Mandarin to Metropolitan Paris and Asian and Pacific area: According to news released by the overseas Falun Gong association, 30-year-old Wang Xia, a Falun Gong practitioner from Bayannaoermeng, Linhe City, Inner Mongolia, was tortured in Hohhot City Prison and the authorities planned to cremate her alive to destroy the evidence.

After the worldwide report on this incident, many people expressed their outrage and concern for Ms. Wang Xia's condition.

At present, Wang Xia needs round the clock care and still lapses in and out of consciousness. Her parents and sister are taking turns looking after her. However, the local police went to her home under the pretext of paying a sympathy call to threaten the family that they will send Ms. Xia to prison again.
