At about noon on July 20, practitioner Li Fengquan was passing by Liqingxi Village on his motorcycle when he met some policemen. The policemen tried to search his motorcycle. To avoid being arrested again, Li got on his motorcycle and left. Policeman Du Guoqing and others were chasing him and tried to catch him. When they realized they couldn't catch Mr. Li, they started shooting at him. Mr. Li Fengquan ran into a corn field to get away from the policemen. The policemen besieged the field and claimed: "Whoever finds Li Fengquan will get a 100 yuan bonus." But, all the people knew the facts of the persecution and nobody wanted to help the police search for Li Fengquan.

Later, the policemen searched Li's home and found a couple of Falun Dafa flyers. The director of the police station whose surname is Bai said, "If he were a thief or other criminal, there would be no problem in letting him get away. but that's not possible in this case because he is a Falun Gong practitioner." They even kidnapped Li's wife to the police station. Later their children demanded that the policemen release their mother.

In the night of August 9, 2004, when practitioner Chen Lihong from Xinzhou District of Wuhan City was tearing down the banners that slandered Falun Gong he was captured by Pan Bichu and others from Yangluo Street Neighborhood Administration Office. Mr. Chen was sent to Liuji Brainwashing Center. The next day he was sent to the Detention Center of Xinzhou District and was detained there. By law, when the detention expired, the detention center was required to release him. Because he refused to sign the so-called "Guarantee Statement" and refused to give up his belief, he was sent to Liuji Brainwashing Center to accept the brainwashing again on Aug. 24th.

Now Mr. Chen Lihong is very sick and bleeding a lot caused by hemorrhoids. But the brainwashing center refused to release him. Instead they were torturing him with being "cuffed and hung up" (1).

Ms. Tang Qiong was a 32-year-old practitioner from Tianshui City of Gansu Province. Because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Dafa and told people the truth about the persecution, she was sentenced to 12 years in prison. She was detained at the Women's Prison of Gansu Province. In the prison, she didn't give up the practice and suffered all sorts of tortures. At the end of July 2004, she suddenly fell from the prison building and died. The policemen blocked the information, disguised the facts, and deceived the family members. The authorities said Ms. Tang Qiong killed herself. The details are under investigation.

Chen Guanghui is the previous section manager of Lianyungang Division of Chinese Construction Bank. Information from the Prison of Suzhou City indicates that the bottom of his skull was seriously injured and his life is in great danger. Now he is in a deep coma, his lungs are infected, and he has fever every day. When his situation was just becoming stable, the manager of the Prison wanted to transfer him from the Affiliation Hospital of the Suzhou Medical University to the Prison Hospital. But the Prison Hospital doesn't have the ability to handle such seriously injured patients.

Mr. Xu Tingping is a practitioner from Jiyang County of Jinan City in Shandong Province. In October 2000 he was detained for one month because he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Afterwards, he was bailed out by his family members. He is very steadfast in his belief.

In July 2004 a new practitioner was practicing Falun Gong at home. The policemen broke into his home and found him practicing Falun Gong. The policemen also found Teacher Li's new lecture in his home. The policemen kidnapped him to the Police Department of Jiyang County. This practitioner gave them Mr. Xu Tingping's name under cruel torture. Later, Mr. Xu was arrested. The policemen blocked the information and sentenced Mr. Xu Tingping to one year in prison after asking the Government of Jinan City for instruction.

Ms. Du Xiuju is an instructor at the Advanced Technician School of Lianyungang City. She was kidnapped on August 19, 2004 again because she refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. Now she is being detained at the Detention Center of Lianyungang City.

Practitioners Jiao Jiagan and Liu Shuye are still under detention.

At about 7 p.m. on August 8, 2004, practitioner Ms. Li Fengqiu from Taihe District of Jinzhou City in Liaoning Province was kidnapped. Then, Ms. Li was sent to the detention center, but the detention center refused to accept her. Later, the Xiaolingzi Police Station of Taihe District sent Ms. Li to the Masanjia Correction House. Now, Ms. Li is holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Practitioner Liu Yuqing from Dingcheng District of Changde City in Hunan Province was beaten by Tan Sanming and over ten other policemen.

In the morning of August 2, 2004, the People's Court of Wuling District of Changde City in Hunan Province held a secret trial against practitioner Song Zhexin. Gao Jiayu (also named Gao Jiaxiu) was presented in the court to defend on Song Zhexin's behalf. Song Zhexin's basic human rights were deprived because he insisted on practicing Falun Gong. During the process, nobody was allowed to come within 150 meters of the court. At the end, Song Zhexin was sentenced to 4 years in prison.

In the night of August 23, 2004, five more practitioners from Rizhao City of Shandong Province were abducted. They were Ms. Yuan Yan from the Harbor Bureau, Mr. Qin Yujie from Shijiu Middle School, and three others from the Transportation Bureau.

Mr. Zhao Zhenming from Changchun City was reported to police and kidnapped by the policemen of Longxing Police Station when he was distributing truth clarification flyers on August 22, 2004. His home was searched and he was detained at the Security Detention Center of the Police Department of Changchun City.

Ms. Liu Xiuqin, in her 50's, is a practitioner from Fushun City of Liaoning Province. She lived at Jiangjun Street of Shuncheng District of Fushun City. At about 9:30 a.m. August 12, 2004, she was kidnapped from 90 Guchengzi Street of Wanghua District of Fushun City. Now she is under detention.

Ms. Lu Aimin is a retired employee of the General Hospital of Dongfeng Company of Shiyan City. On Aug. 21^st, she was abducted by the policemen from the Dongyue Division of the National Security Brigade. It was said that she was reported by somebody who didn't know the truth of Falun Gong.

Also, practitioner Li Cui from Shiyan City is still under detention.

In 2001, Practitioner Liu Huiyun from Shunping County of Baoding City of Hebei Province was illegally detained in the forced labor camp for 2 years. When her term expired, she was sent to the Brainwashing Center in Zhuozhou City because she refused to give up her belief. While she was being detained in the brainwashing center, she was able to break through the persecution with strong righteous thoughts.

On July 2nd 2004, Ms. Liu Huiyun was abducted by the policemen from the Police Department of Shunping County. During the detention she started a 5-day hunger strike. Twenty days later, she got away from the detention. On July 27, 2004, she was kidnapped again. Without any excuse, she was sent to the forced labor camp and was sentenced to one year in forced labor camp. Once she arrived in the forced labor camp, she was handcuffed on the bare bed immediately by the policemen. Now, she has been holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution for the past 28 days.

On about August 20, 2004, practitioner Li Baojie and Pan Xueshu from Panjin City of Liaoning Province were abducted by the policemen from Jinzhou District of Dalian City. On the same day, Li Baojie was sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Pan Xueshu was sent to the Forced Labor Camp of Benxi City. Now, both of them are holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

On August 25, practitoner Zhou Renming from Yueyang City was abducted when distributing truth clarification materials. The policemen from Wulipai Police Station of Yueyang City illegally searched his home.
