Rhode Island: Falun Gong Practitioners at the NBC10 Health Expo (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Rhode Island and surrounding areas participated in the Health Expo sponsored by NBC10 in the Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island on September 12, 2004.

The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises at 3:30 in the afternoon wearing traditional Chinese Qigong uniforms. Exercise music and narration filled the exhibit hall. The narration recounted the history of Falun Dafa from its introduction, wide-spread popularity, to the practitioners' unwavering will under tremendous difficulties.

The audience was deeply moved by the demonstration and narration, and gave them warm applause. Two boys from the audience joined the practitioners on stage and mimicked the exercise movements. When the demonstration was over, the practitioners were surrounded by people who wanted to learn the practice. Introduction materials went very quickly, and the audience left with a happy experience.
