Supplementary Information Regarding the Torture Death of Liu Chengjun

(Clearwisdom.net) In December 2003, Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun was on the verge of death due to persecution at Jilin City Prison. He was sent twice in one week to a hospital by the Jilin Prison Administration Bureau. The second time he was carried to the labor camp hospital, he was very weak due to his hunger strike to protest the persecution. Some of his teeth had been pried out during force-feedings, and they could not find the veins on his hands.

After the evil deeds of the prison were partially made public, Liu's family members went to the hospital, demanding his release. The labor camp hospital was shocked, and immediately held a meeting to investigate how the news was leaked out. Their fear after discovering that their evil deeds had been exposed was quite significant.

Just one day before Liu Chengjun was tortured to death, due to the pressure from outside public voices, the director of the prison administration bureau made a special trip to the labor camp hospital to discuss possible countermeasures. On the second day, they transferred Liu Chengjun to a better quality hospital, China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University. That same day Liu Chengjun died, a victim of injustice, after suffering from one year and nine months of brutal torture.
